 PRESENTATION

This glossary will allow us to know the different words used in an agro-
industrial work environment

Agribusiness is more than those economic activities related to

production, industrialization, as well as the commercialization of products
belonging to the agricultural sector, livestock, forestry or fishing. In other
words, it is the process by which value is added, the agricultural product
is modified and professionalized, which will subsequently be marketed at
the end of the value chain.

Este glosario nos permitirá conocer las diferentes palabras utilizadas en un

ambiente de trabajo agroindustrial

La agroindustria es más que aquellas actividades económicas relacionadas con la

producción, la industrialización, así como la comercialización de productos

pertenecientes al sector agrícola, a la ganadería, al rubro forestal o a la pesca. En

otras palabras, es el proceso mediante el cual se añade valor, se modifica y se

profesionaliza el producto agropecuario que, posteriormente, será comercializado

al final de la cadena de valor. ( Coll Morales, 2021)
