campo laboral; de aquí la necesidad de que retomen la información que como equipo de trabajo
realizaron sobre herramientas, equipos y materiales y tengan en cuenta lo siguiente:

Research design and methodology

The data used in the statistical


analysis, were collected as part of
the third phase of the study:
―High Performance
Manufacturing (HPM),
conducted by a team of researchers
from various universities in the
United States, Europe and Asia.
The Spanish study team is
made up of
research groups from four universities: University of Seville, Polytechnic
University of Valencia, Complutense University of Madrid and Public University
of Navarra, covering all geographical areas of the country. The HPM database
that has been used for this research includes 265 industrial plants in six countries
(Germany, Austria, South Korea, Spain, the United States, Finland, Italy, Japan
and Sweden), which represent the three main regions of the world (North
America, Europe and Asia). The sample includes plants from the industrial
sectors of electronics, machinery and automotive manufacturing in each of the
previous countries. The sample of industrial plants distinguished two types: (i)
High Performance Plants (HPP) and (ii) Standard Performance Plants (SPP).
