Momento de Estructuración y Práctica: 

Ahora, para realizar esta guía es importante que tengas a la mano la guía anterior, ya que son muchos
conectores y puede que no te acuerdes de todos. Con base en las siguientes imágenes vas a unir las
preguntas de la columna que tiene números, con las respuestas de la columna que tiene letras, luego
debes escribir la historia de lo que hizo Tom en orden usando conectores que le den sentido y orden
como una narración.

Ahora, rellena los huecos de las
siguientes frases con el conector más adecuado (SO, BECAUSE, BUT y ALTHOUGH). Y escribe la
traducción en frente de cada una de estas frases.
1. I was very tired so I went to bed. Estaba muy cansado, así que me fui a la cama.
2. although he wasn’t very hungry, he ate a big hamburger. - Aunque no tenía mucha hambre, se
comió una hamburguesa grande.
3. I love that film because it’s very good. - Me encanta esa película porque es muy buena.
4. The interview was very difficult but he got the job. - La entrevista fue muy difícil, pero consiguió
el trabajo.
5. although she likes football, she prefers hockey. - A pesar de que le gusta el fútbol, prefiere el
hockey.
6. His first book is very good but his second one is even better. - Su primer libro es muy bueno, pero
su segundo es aún mejor.
7. We went to the supermarket because there was no food at home.- Fuimos al supermercado
porque no había comida en casa.
8. They didn’t like the programme so they turned off the tv. - No les gustó el programa, así que
apagaron la televisión.

Momento de Transferencia y Valoración:

Ahora completa el siguiente párrafo escribiendo conectores que le den sentido a la historia, la gran
mayoría de verbos que vas a encontrar están en pasado, como se ha venido trabajando en las guías
anteriores. En cada espacio debes usar un conector diferente, y luego pasar el párrafo a español.

Yesterday, it was my birthday and it didn’t start well. I went to the park to meet my friends, but they
weren’t there. I decided to look for them. 1 first , I went to the shopping centre opposite the park, but
they weren’t there. 2 next , I looked for them at the library, but they weren’t there. 3 then , I tried the
sports centre and the restaurant near the park, but my friends weren’t there. 4 finally , I went home,
and my friends there... with a birthday cake, ice cream, music and games. It was a surprise party for me!
In the end, I had a great birthday.

Ayer, era mi cumpleaños y no empezó bien.  Fui al parque a conocer a mis amigos, pero no estaban
allí.  Decidí buscarlos. 1 primero , fui al centro comercial frente al parque, pero no estaban allí. 2
siguiente , los busqué en la biblioteca, pero no estaban allí. 3 entonces , probé el centro deportivo y el
restaurante cerca del parque, pero mis amigos no estaban allí. 4 finalmente , me fui a casa, y mis amigos
allí... con un pastel de cumpleaños, helado, música y juegos.  Fue una fiesta sorpresa para mí! Al final,
tuve un gran cumpleaños
