Clase 21 - The indefinite Pronoun II

El pronombre indefinido va en lugar de un nombre, es decir no define a qué

persona, animal o cosa se refiere.

Se habla en términos generales, estos son:

Affirmative:
 somebody -------- alguien

 someone -------- alguien

 everybody -------- todos, todo el mundo

 everyone -------- todos, todo el mundo

 somewhere -------- en alguna parte o lugar

 everywhere -------- en todas partes

 something -------- algo

 everything -------- todo

 Something y everybody son las más usadas.

Negative:
Las siguientes pronombres se usan con los auxiliares en negativo, isn´t – can´t
– don´t – doesn´t – didn´t.

Estos pronombres también se pueden usar para hacer preguntas. Estas son:

 anyone -------- alguien, cualquiera

 anybody -------- cualquier, cualquiera

 anywhere -------- a ninguna parte, a ningún lugar

 anything -------- nada, cualquier cosa, negativo

 anyone -------- alguien

 anybody -------- nadie, cualquiera

En los siguientes pronombres notará que no se usan auxiliares negativos
porque ya la palabra lleva el negativo “no” incluido.

 None -------- nadie, ninguno (a)

 Nobody -------- nadie, ningún (a)

 Nowhere -------- a ninguna parte

 Nothing -------- nada

Examples:
 Somebody (someone) is knocking at the door.

 Everybody (everyone) is here today.

 My keys must be somewhere.

 God is everywhere.

 I have something to do, but I can´t remember what.

 Josefa has everything she wants.

 Is there anybody here?

 She can´t find her purse anywhere.

 They don´t have anything to do.

 Anything you say is ok.

 Nobody (no one) is absent today.
