Bendiciones a todos, empezamos un nuevo año escolar 2021, que debido al covid 19 debemos
continuar con el trabajo en casa o, en la escuela, en caso de que se dé la alternancia.
Confiemos en Dios en que esto pasará pronto pero mientras tanto trabajems juntos docentes,
directivos, padres e familia y estudiantes, para que con la ayuda de Nuestro Padre Celestial,,
y el empeño que cada uno de ustedes pongan acompañados de responsabilidad, amor y
agrado. para la consecución de nuestro principal objetivo: aprender y ganar nuestro año

En esta guía de aprendizaje se realizará un diagnóstico de las temáticas trabajadas en el año

escolar anterior en las guías de aprendizaje para verificar que tanto se apropiaron de la
temáticas en ellas estudiadas.

IV. THERE IS/ /THERE ARE’NT,THERE ISN´T - THERE AREN’T.

1. There is / There are: There is y there are significan hay (de haber). Se utilizan al principio
de una oración y está determinada por el sustantivo que la sigue.
2. Use there is cuando el sustantivo es singular ("There is a cat" = Hay un gato).
3. Use there are cuando el sustantivo sea plural (“There are two cats” = Hay dos gatos).
Observa la imagen y con base en ella completa las oraciones con “there is – “there isn’t /
“there are there aren’t” según corresponda.
