EL AMBIENTE

Los retos ambientales, sus causas y posibles soluciones, teniendo como mayor amenaza al calentamiento

global, por el uso indiscriminado de combustibles fósiles y el dióxido de carbono liberado a la atmósfera

atrapado como capas, que impiden la reflectancia de la radiación solar, haciendo que la tierra se caliente

más, llamado también efecto invernadero.

Que podemos hacer para mitigar estos efectos, entre otros, reducir la emisión de gases de efecto

invernadero, uso de focos ahorradores, uso de carros eficientes, reducir el uso de combustibles fósiles,

uso de energías renovables, plantar más árboles, ahorrar agua en la casa, usar en lo posible el transporte

público, proteger y conservar los bosques, practicar las tres Rs de reducir, reusar y reciclar.

Los efectos son que los casquetes polares se están desprendiendo, incremento del agua sobre el nivel del

mar, crecimiento de los desiertos. Otros problemas ambientales son los océanos contaminados, aire

contaminado que causa problemas a la salud de las personas, la vida silvestre se está perdiendo, los

residuos sólidos también emiten gases de efecto invernadero.

THE ENVIRONMENT

The environmental challenges, their causes and possible solutions, having as the greatest threat to global

warming, due to the indiscriminate use of fossil fuels and the carbon dioxide released into the

atmosphere trapped as layers, which prevent the reflectance of solar radiation, causing the Earth

becomes hotter, also called the greenhouse effect.

What can we do to mitigate these effects, among others, reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, use

energy-saving light bulbs, use efficient cars, reduce the use of fossil fuels, use renewable energy, plant

more trees, save water in the home, use public transportation where possible, protect and conserve

forests, practice the three Rs of reduce, reuse and recycle.

The effects are that the polar caps are being detached, increase in water above sea level, growth of

deserts. Other environmental problems are polluted oceans, polluted air that causes health problems for

people, wildlife is being lost, solid waste also emits greenhouse gases.
