1. OBJETIVO: EL TCP DEBE CONOCER Y ENTENDER LAS PRINCIPALES EXPRESIONES TÉCNICAS Y DE

USO CORRIENTE, ASI COMO LAS ABREVIATURAS EMPLEADAS EN EL SECTOR AERONÁUTICO Y
PARTICULARMENTE EN LOS REGLAMENTOS AERONÁUTICOS RAC, INDICANDO EL SIGNIFICADO QUE A
EFECTOS DE SU APLICACIÓN HA DE DÁRSELES. Todo en un ámbito seguro de las operaciones aéreas en
sus diferentes fases de vuelo y tierra.
2. OBJETIVOS ESPECÍFICOS:
- IDENTIFICAR LAS PRINCIPALES ABREVIATURAS USADAS EN AERONÁUTICA.
- CONOCER Y ENTENDER LAS DEFINICIONES USADAS EN AERONÁUTICA.
- CONOCER Y APLICAR LA FRASEOLOGÍA USADA EN VUELO, TANTO EN CABINA DE PASAJEROS
COMO EN CABINA DE MANDO.

3. ASISTENTES: Los alumnos en formación básica de en el perfil de TCP de AFA DE COLOMBIA.

4. MÉTODO: CONSULTA DIRECTA. Acudir a documentos explicados y orientados a obtener información pertinente
en temas concretos del Módulo de TERMINOLOGÍA.

TEMA 04:

- PAPI: Precision Approach Path Indicator-Indicador de aproximación, luces indicadoras de trayectorias de aproximación
de precisión, indica el sentido en el que va el avión.
- Aerolínea: Empresa de servicios aéreos comerciales de transporte público con un permiso de operación vigente o una
autorización equivalente de la autoridad nacional pertinente.
- Aeropuerto: Todo aeródromo especialmente equipado y usado regularmente para pasajeros y/o carga y que, a juicio de
la UAEAC, posee instalaciones y servicios de infraestructura aeronáutica suficientes para ser operado en la aviación civil.
- Altitud: Distancia vertical entre un nivel, punto u objeto considerado como punto, y el nivel medio del mar (MSL).
- ILS: El sistema de aterrizaje instrumental (Instrument Landing System) es el sistema de ayuda a la aproximación y el
aterrizaje establecido por OACI como sistema normalizado en todo el mundo.
- Plataforma: Área definida en un aeródromo terrestre, destinada a dar cavidad a las aeronaves para los fines de
embarque o desembarque de pasajeros, o bien sea el caso, de carga. Abastecimiento de combustible, estacionamiento o
mantenimiento.
- NOTAM: Aviso distribuido por medios de telecomunicaciones (AFNT) que contiene información relativa al
establecimiento, condición o modificación de cualquier instalación aeronáutica, servicio, procedimiento o peligro cuyo
conocimiento oportuno es esencial para el personal encargado de las operaciones de vuelo, aviso para el piloto (Notice
To Airman)
- HK: Es la matrícula estipulada para las aeronaves registradas en Colombia
- ELT: Trasmisor localizador de emergencia
- Tripadi: Es un tripulante adicional, Hace referencia a la asignación de reserva, retorno, y tiempos de espera que se
presenten en los mismos, en el cual los tripulantes toman y manejan la asignación de su descanso de acuerdo a si laboro

o no el mismo día, de no ser así seria en reserva hasta que se de orden de lo contrario; de igual manera da a conocer al
tripulante los días correspondientes a las incapacidades y calamidades presentadas por medio de los trabajadores.

TERMINOLOGIA EN INGLES

- PAPI: Precision Approach Path Indicator-Approach indicator, indicator lights for precision approach paths, indicates the
direction in which the plane is going.
- Airline: Public transport commercial air services company with a valid operating permit or equivalent authorization from
the relevant national authority.
- Airport: Any aerodrome specially equipped and regularly used for passengers and / or cargo and which, in the opinion of
the UAEAC, has sufficient aeronautical infrastructure facilities and services to be operated in civil aviation.
- Altitude: Vertical distance between a level, point or object considered as a point, and the mean sea level (MSL).
- ILS: The Instrument Landing System is the approach and landing aid system established by ICAO as a standardized
system throughout the world.
- Platform: Area defined in a land aerodrome, destined to give cavity to the aircraft for the purposes of boarding or
disembarking passengers, or in the case, cargo. Fuel supply, parking or maintenance.
- NOTAM: Notice distributed by means of telecommunications (AFNT) that contains information related to the
establishment, condition or modification of any aeronautical facility, service, procedure or danger whose timely knowledge
is essential for the personnel in charge of flight operations, notice for the pilot (Notice To Airman)
- HK: It is the registration stipulated for aircraft registered in Colombia
- ELT: Emergency Transmisor localizer
- Tripadi: It is an additional crew member, It refers to the reservation, return, and waiting times that appear in them, in
which the crew members take and manage the allocation of their rest according to whether or not they work the same day,
if not, it would be in reserve until the opposite is ordered; in the same way, it informs the crew of the days corresponding to
the disabilities and calamities presented by the workers.
