OBJETIVO: Desarrollar vocabulario básico y sostener conversaciones sencillas
acerca de la vida diaria, tanto oral como escritas.
METODOLOGIA: todos los lunes se les enviara a su correo 2 unidades que
trabajan durante la semana si necesitan tiempo tómenlo no hay problema. Primero
trabajan la primera unidad, desarrollan las actividades en un documento Word y lo
envían al instructor antes del siguiente lunes. Los audios los hacen y los envían
través del whatsapp 3102545633. Toda duda se envía al instructor a través del
whatsapp o del correo marioarbelaezol@misena.edu.co
Cuando ustedes entran al Sena se llaman aprendices, significa que saben seguir
las orientaciones de su instructor. Para iniciar este nivel deben de tener unos
conocimientos previos para desarrollarse en este nivel. Por eso lea bien cada
renglón y punto hasta que lo entienda de manera que vaya avanzando en su
conocimiento y dominio del ingles. Cuando tenga algún inconveniente
comuníquese con su instructor y presénteles sus dificultades de aprendizaje y el
le ayudara.
UNIDAD 7: GOING AWAY (DESAPPARECER)

LECCION A: GETTING READY (PREPARANDOSE)

To do!
Go online to find a flight.
Get a new suitcase, and pack.
Take photo ID (find Passport).
Call for a cab? Or get a bus Schedule?
Check on the weather.
CONNVERSATION:
Alicia:. Are you readu for your trip to Puerto Rico?
Rita: Yeah, kind of. But i still have a lot to do!. I need to go shopping to get a new
suitcase, and I still have to do online to find a cheap flight.
Alicia: It is easy to fiind bargains on the internet?
Rita: Well, it’s not too hard. You just have to do some reaserch
Alicia: So, where are you going exactly?
Rita: Well, first I’m going to San Juan to see my relatives, and then we’re all going
someplace to go snorkeling.
Alicia: That sounds exciting.
Rita: Yeah. It’s going to be fun.

Grammar: Infinitives for reasons; It’s + adjective+ to….

I’m goinf to Puerto Rico to see my relatives.
I need to go shopping to get a suitcase.
I have to go online to find a flight.
En estas oraciones dimos razones usando infinitivos (to see, to get, to find).
Is it easy to find bargains online?
It’s easy to do.
It’s not hard to do.
En estas oraciones usamos la formula It’s mas un adjetivo( easy, hard) y un
infinitivo (to find, to do). Son estructuras que debemos aprender a usar. Otros
adjerivos que puedes uusar son hard, nice, easy, good, and important).
ACTIVITY 1: Imagine que va a viajar a otro país. Haga una lista de cosas que
debe hacer antes de viajar. Tenga encuenta todo lo posible ya que le ayuda a
mejorar su vocabulario.
ACTIVITY 2: Responda las preguntas de acuerdo a los aprendido con la estructura
It’s +adjective+ to..
1-Is it important to prepare for a trip abroad?
2-Is it good to meet people?
3-Is it interesting to discover secrets?
4-Is it good to study a lifetime?
ACTIVITY 3: Prepare la pronunciacion del dialogo entre Alicia y Rita, aprendalo
bien, pronuncielo bien, entiendalo y cuando este listo haga un audio haciendo el
dialogo y envielo a su instructor.
LECCION B: THINGS TO REMEMBER (COSAS PARA RECORDAR)
VOCABULARY:
A bathing suit (traje de baño), a towel, a sleeping bag, a tent, insect repellent, a
first-aid kit, a pair of scissors, a flashlight, batteries, jajamas, a razor, soap, a hair
dryer, a brush, a toothpaste, a toothbrush, sunscreen, shampoo, makeup, sandals,
ACTIVITY 4: HAGA UNA LISTA DE COSAS QUE NECESITA PARA HACER Y
UNA LISTA DE LO QUE NO NECESITA PARA HACER:

Grammar: Advice and suggestions( consejos y sugerencias)
ADVICE: What should I take? Should I take these shoes?
You should take a hat. You shouldn’t take high heles. You could borrow your dad’s
hat. You need to have warm clothes.
SUGGETIONS:
Do you want to pack some other shoes? Why don’t you take a hat? It’s a good idea
to pack a jacket. Take a flashlight. Don’t forget to pack some batteries.
ACTIVITY 5: De 5 consejos a la gente útiles para la vida saludable. Ejemplo. Don’
smoke.
ACTIVITY 6: Sugiera 5 cosas a la gente comportamientos para que les vaya bien
en la vida. Ejemplo: Why don’t you do daily exercise

LECCION C: THAT’S A GREAT IDEA ( ES UNA GRAN IDEA)

Cuando te gustan las sugerencias respondes en ingles: that’s a great idea.o that
sound great. O I’d love to.
Cuando no te gustan dices: Maybe. O I guess we could, but…., o I’d like to, but….
O I don’t know

Usted puede usar I GUESS, cuando usted no esta 100% seguro acerca de algo, o
si usted no quiere dar a entender 100% seguro. Ejemplo:alguien dice: I guess i
need to keep this job. La otra persona responde:Yeah, me too.I guess.
CONVERSATION:
Chris: You know, we should take a few days off sometime.
Adam: Yeah, we should. Definitely.
Chris: We could go to Mexico or something.
Adam: That’s a great idea.
Chris: We could even go for a couple of weeks.
Adam: Well, maybe. I guess we could, but…
Chris: You know, we could just quit our Jobs and maybe go backpacking for a few
months…
Adam: Well, I don’t know. I’d like to, but… I guess I need to keep this job, you
know, ro pay for school and stuff.
Chris: Yeah, me too, I guess.

ACTIVITY 7: Enrienda la conversación entre Chris and Adam, estudie su

pronunciación, pronuncie las palabras y luego las oraciones . Cuando lo haga
bien, haga un audio con la conversación y envíelo al instructor.

LECCION D: INTERESTING PLACES (LUGARES INTERESANTES)

SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT…

Salt, salt, everywhere….

The hotel de la Plata in Bolivia is certainly different. It’s almost completely made of
salt- the walls, tables, chairs, and even the beds. Everything except the toilets!.
While we were there, we visited Fisherman’s Island with its dabulous 12-foot cacti.
It’s fun to resnt mountain bikes to go and see the salt hills, lakes, and hot springs.
Just be sure to take sunglasses- the sun gets extremely bright.

ACTIVITY 8: Translate the Reading to Spanish.

ACTIVITY 9: lea el texto de lectura en un audio y envíesela al instructor. No olvide

prepararla bien pronunciando palabra por palabra para que cuando lo coloque en
el audio lo haga lo mejor posible.

ACTIVITY 10: Imagínese que esta en un hotel en otro país. Escriba una postcard a
alguien especial en su país.

Say if you are enjoying you stay: I’m having a great/ fabulous/awful time here in…
Describe the place, food, or weather: The food/ the weather/ hotel is……

Nota: Articulos que viene en pares: shoes, pants, shorts, jeans, glasses, stockings,
socks, gloves.

Apreciados aprendices, lean bien y usen todas las herramientas que tengan. Haga
las actividades en un documento Word y lo envía cuando finalicen su estudio de la
lección. Igual pueden mandar sus audios por whatsapp. Cualquier duda envíe sus
preguntas al instructor. Estudien lección por lección, la unidad tiene 4 lecciones:
A,B,C, y D. No pase a la siguiente si no ha entendido la primera.

Al final de la lección debe saber cómo hacer amigos, hablar de cosas con las
personas, temas de conversación apropiados.
