I.- BIENVENIDA

Bienvenidos estimados estudiantes. En nombre de E- Valley te damos la Bienvenida al curso


de Inglés I. En ésta oportunidad estudiaremos UNIDAD 2– “TELL ME”. La cual tiene como
objetivos: Dominar Vocabulario Correspondiente a nivel básico, y reconocer tiempo verbal.

Esta Unidad se conforma por dos Sub temas:

- How Often; Objetivos: Dominar Gramática, Presente Continuo y Adverbios, más


actividades.
- Give me; Objetivos: Dominar el sentido contable de las Cosas.

Es importante participes activamente en cada una de las actividades. Así como también
mantener un horario de estudio y hacer uso del material de apoyo que aquí se les entrega,
tanto en contenido como sugerencias de links para práctica del mismo Si tienes dudas
contáctate con el área de docencia o con tu tutor guía quien estará a cargo de tu proceso de
aprendizaje.

A continuación les invitamos a comprender y analizar la siguiente Unidad.

II.- INTRODUCCIÓN A LA UNIDAD: TELL ME

Estimado(a) estudiante

Sea muy bienvenido(a) a los contenidos de la asignatura. Como institución tenemos


un gran desafío de formarlo(a) a usted en esta modalidad, por tanto, siéntase en
todo momento libre de acercarse a nosotros y hacernos llegar sus inquietudes.
Recuerde que estamos a su servicio.

Al final de las 72 horas que dura este módulo de inglés, el alumno será capaz de
manejar gramática básica, describir rutinas diarias, la hora, describir el tiempo, hablar
acerca de países y nacionalidades, describir personas y personalidades, hablar acerca
de las estaciones del año, meses, días de la semana, describir el cuerpo humano,
hablar sobre actividades de tiempo libre decir lo que le gusta y lo que no, hablar sobre
la familia, preguntar sobre comida, alimentos, líquidos y contenedores, describir
emociones y sentimientos, dar direcciones de acuerdo a localidades, dominar tiempo
presente simple, continuo y pasado, lo cual le servirá como una herramienta muy útil
para el futuro desempeño de su carrera.
Les invito a conocer estos conceptos y más en la presente unidad.

NOTE: AT and IN we use them with BUILDINGS. but there are differences of how and when to
use them.

1.- AT = when we say WHERE an event takes place.


AT= someone´s house
AT (ARRIVE) = when you arrive at other places or events
Example: We went to a concert AT the Royal Festival Hall
I was AT Tom´s last night.
What time did he arrive AT school/work/hotel/party?
2.- IN= When we are thinking about the building itself
IN (ARRIVE) = when you arrive in a country or town
IN= In town and villages
Example: The rooms IN Tom´s house are very small

Example:
Do you drink MUCH coffee?

**IF I want to say a POSITIVE sentence:

2.9 Comparison of Adjectives

Comparison Adjectives are use to compare something /someone with


something/someone else

NOTE: Some Adjectives and adverbs have irregular comparatives forms, like:
GOOD/ WELL >> BETTER

BAD/BADLY >> WORSE
FAR >> FURTHER/FARTHER
Example: The situation was much worse than we expected

Note: We usually say: Than me /than him/ than her / than us/ than them/than
“something”
Example: I can run faster than him
