Task based learning. The student uses His/her English in a particular
communicative context, in order to carry out a task: planning,
describing, inviting, giving advice, etc.

Activities to develop
Estimado estudiante:
En esta guía usted encontrará las pautas de realización de su
producto final, que será según su elección: un afiche, un folleto o una
infografía en la que usted dé cuenta de tres aspectos:
a) contar una experiencia de un viaje;
b) hablar del clima de ese lugar y dar recomendaciones sobre qué
tener en cuenta de acuerdo con el clima;
c) dar recomendaciones para planear un viaje al lugar que usted
describió.
Es necesario que usted haga los ejercicios de los contenidos en
línea que se relacionan al inicio de cada paso, porque eso se debe
reflejar en los ejercicios de escritura que se proponen en el proceso y
así mismo en el producto final. Usted debe publicar en el foro
únicamente los ejercicios que la guía indica por cada unidad.
El resto de ejercicios los debe hacer y no debe enviar ni pantallazos ni
las respuestas al correo del tutor.

A través de este ejercicio usted fortalecerá su capacidad de


producción escrita en:

 Escritura de textos cortos y simples, en los que hable de su


contexto inmediato y de sucesos del pasado.

 You will develop this task in the Writing task forum.


 At the end of this task, you will collect the evidence of the task in
an infographic, brochure or poster through the tool
Picktochart. Follow each step, post all the activities in the forum
and get feedback from your partners and tutor.
 The final product must be sent individually. You construct
your final portfolio through the process you develop
collaboratively.

Stage 1: Going on a trip 1


Go to unit 1.4. Going on a trip in the Knowledge
environment and develop all the activities. You just have
to upload the following activities in the forum.

a. Post the indicated activities (pronunciation –do not record


yourself, just write the exercise in the forum- and Writing) from
the unit in the forum.

b. Write a short note in the forum telling what you did last
vacation/holidays/weekend.

Example: Description: The weather in Bogotá changes every day. In the


morning it is usually cloudy, but it becomes sunny at noon.
