Messages:

1. Ifa says that it foresees the ire of respect, prosperity and followership for you.

advised to feed Ifa with 1 matured she-goat. At the same time there is the
need for you to feed Osun with sekete (maize beer). On this, Otura Tukaa

Translation:
Gbaga Iroko
He was the Awo cast Ifa for Sekete (the favourite drink of Osun)
When lamenting her inability to have a child
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied
Here comes Sekete, the fertility drink of Orisa
The elder who drinks Sekete will have plenty of children.

2. Ifa says that there is the need for you to think more about your children and
followers than money. Ifa says that if you do this you will have more
reward in life and even after you have passed on. Ifa advises you to offer
ebo with 16 rats, 16 fish and 8 hens. Ifa assures you that if you struggle
for money, you will be successful and if you concentrate on you children,
you will equally be successful and even have more respect among your
followers and those who call you their father. A stanza in this Odu says:
 O tura kale, o da won-ran
Dia fun won ni Isese Agere
Nibi ti won ji ti won n sare owo
To ju tomo lo
Ebo ni won ni ki won waa se
Nje oju owo lemo e o moju omo
Eyin ara Isese Agere
Oju owo lemo e o moju omo

Translation:
It spilled and scattered every where
This was the message of Ifa to the inhabitants of Isese Agere
Where they woke up in pursuant of money at the expense on their
children
They were advised to offer ebo
You prefer pursuing money to taking care of your children
You, the inhabitants of Isese of Isese Agere
You love money than taking care of children.

3. Ifa says that a contentious matter is brewing now; you must do everything
you know to make sure that it does not degenerate into full scale crisis. Ifa
says that if you allow this to lead into crisis, the consequence will be
disastrous. Ifa says that if any matter is on ground that may lead to
litigation, you must never be the initiator of that crisis. Ifa also says that
you must try everything you know to stop such litigation.
On the other hand, if someone plans to initiate a crisis or litigation against
you, you must take the following two steps: one, offer ebo with 3 matured
he-goats. One of the he-goats must be used to feed Esu and to feed Ifa with
a matured she-goat; two, you must try everything to stop the crisis or
litigation and resolve the matter amicably. If this is not possible, hand
over everything in the hands of Ifa. On this, a stanza in Otura Tukaa says:

Ologberi won o mo
Ologberi i ba mo
Won o ba ti fi ile Ika sodee lo
Dia fun Adegorolu
Omo ojo ija su deere maro
Ebo ni won ni o waa se o
O gbebo, o rubo
Ogberi ti ba n foju ija wo Awo
Ifa ni yoo ma da won sorun o
Eda gorooro
Translation:
 Otura scattered Ika into a deep sea
The un-initiated is ignorant of this
Had the un-initiated been aware of this
He would never venture passing through Ika’s house
This was the Ifa’s declaration to Adegorolu
He whose heavy rainfall of contention must never be allowed to
fall
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
All un-initiated who long for confrontation with an Awo
Ifa will send them to heaven in torrents

4. Ifa says that you are associating with a wayward woman; Ifa describes this
woman as morally bankrupt. This is this woman will be having an affair
with those who are close to you and to her. Ifa advises you to be very
careful with this woman. Ifa describes this woman as somebody who
lacks the will power to hold her self when she is sexually aroused. This is
why she allows herself to be involved in ridiculous relationships. Ifa says
also that there is the need for you to offer ebo with 1 matured he-goat and
money. On this, Ifa says:

Otura Tukaa
O fi irukere tubo sekere
Dia fun Masun lasan
Eyi ti yoo fobo fun olotan re do
Ebo ni won ni o waa se

Translation:
Otura scatters Ika
And use the horse tail to offer ebo for sekere (the beaded bottled
calabash)
This was the message of Ifa to Masun lasan (She-who-cannot-sleep-
alone)
The one who saw nothing wrong in allowing even her relations to
make love to her
She was advised to offer ebo

5. Ifa says that you need the assistance of your relations and that of Ifa to chase
a woman who was nothing wrong in promiscuity. Ifa says that if nothing is
done about this woman, she will use her genital to completely destroy
that home. This is because she will service everybody without shame or
decorum. All the problems in that household are being caused by the
attitude of this woman. There is the need for you to offer ebo with two
 roosters, 2 hens and money. You should also avoid having sexual
intercourse with her in order to avoid STD. On this, Ifa says:

O tu raka
Dia fun fun Iyale Onikaa
Omo a fidi ba ‘tan je
Ebo ni won ni o waa se o
Baale ile o dake
Mogaji ile o dake n dan
Iyale Onikaa ko ma ba agbole yii je fun wa o.

Translation:
It scattered every where
And gathered together
After gathering together
It scattered every where again
This was Ifa’s message to the first wife of Onikaa
Who will use her genital to ruin the household
She was advised to offer ebo
The head of the household, are you keeping quiet?
The head of the compound, are you not taking any action?
Do not allow Onikaa’s first wife to destroy this compound for us.

6. Ifa advises you to offer ebo to avoid a situation where you will be suffering
where you are supposed to be having prestige and honour. This is like a
case of a horse which is well loved and taken care of. At the same time it
will be beaten and mounted upon to take them to where ever they are
going. If advises you to offer ebo with 4 roosters and 4 guinea fowls. On
this, Ifa says:

Turaka-turaka awo Esin lo dia fun Esin

Esin n torun bo waye
Turaka-turaka awo Esin
Dia fun Esin
Esin n torun bo waye
Esin wa n raye Iya oun egbin
Ebo ni won ni o waa se o
Esin i ba tete mo

Translation:
Turaka-turaka
This was the awo who cast Ifa for Esin, the horse
When coming from heaven to earth
Turaka-turaka
The Awo of Esin, horse cast Ifa for Esin
When coming from heaven to earth
Esin was going to the world of suffering and humiliation
He was advised to offer ebo
If Esin, horse had known
It would have used its money to offer the prescribed ebo
If Esin had known!

7. Ifa says that you are an elegbe and your egbe are helping to succeed in life. Ifa
says that you need to propitiate your egbe regularly. In fact, there is the
need for you to have an egbe icon. This will help you to attain a great
height in life; you will also be blessed with financial success, good spouse,
well behaved children and long life. On this Odu, Ifa says:

Tutuntu kan o ju tutuntu kan lo o

Tutuntu kan o ju tutuntu kan lo o
Itu won n tu yo lerubu ile
Bande ni won ntupo nilee ‘Bamode
Dia fun Olori-Egbe
Ti ntikole orun bo wa ‘kole aye

O koko koti ogboin sebo

Translation:
The way we pour a commodity is not different from the way we pout
the other
The way salt is being offloaded in Erubu land
That is the exact way palm oil is being poured in ‘Bamode
These were Ifa‘s declarations for Olori-Egbe
When coming from heaven to earth
He was advised to offer ebo
He initially refused to comply
And he suffered tremendously for that
He later complied with the advised of the awo
 Not too long, soon after
He became blessed with all ire

8. Ifa says that you are closely associated with Osun and that the Orisa
responsible for your fertility is Osun. Consequently, there is the need for
you to have the icon of Osun in your house. Ifa advises you to offer ebo
with adiye agada (the hen that has its two legs tied together while being
offered to Osun), 2 pigeons and money. On this, Ifa says:

Igi igbo abijin rereere loganjo

Dia fun Yeyee mi Otooro-Efon
Omo ejigbojo ile ode ido
O feyinti moju ekun sunrahun tomo
Ebo ni won ni o waa se
O gbebo, o rubo
E ki yeyee mi o

Translation:
The forest tree with a wide shade in the middle of the night (alias)
This was the Awo who cast Ifa for Yeyee mi in the land of Otooro-Efon
The offspring of Osun in the land of Ido
When she was lamenting her inability to have a child
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied
Please, show appreciation to Yeyee mi (my mother)
The one who uses brass ornaments as symbol of fertility
All hail Yeyee mi (my mother)
The one who uses brass ornaments as symbol of fertility

9. Ifa says that you are experiencing a lot of problems and difficulties now. Ifa
says that you shall overcome all these problems. Ifa will rise up to your
rescue and assist you to contain all these problems and difficulties. Ifa
advises you offer ebo with 3 pigeons, 3 guinea fowls and 3 roosters. You
are also advised to feed Ifa with 1 matured she-goat. On this, Ifa says:

Turuku-turuku
Turaka-turaka
Oturaka-turuku
 Tuturuku ajanaku bo tefon mole bamubamu
Dia fun oba Omini
Nijo aye Olufe n baje
Ebo ni won ni o waa se o
Ifa ma je o baje o
Ikin wa bami t’aye temi se o

Translation:
To raise so much dust
To display a lot of fury
To raise dust and to display fury
The capacity of an elephant to raise dust is far bigger than that of a
buffalo
These were the messages of Ifa to Oba Omini (Orunmila)
When the life of Olofin was getting spoiled
He was advised to offer ebo
Ifa, please don’t let it spoil
Ikin, the holy kernel, come and help mend my life for me

10. Ifa says that you are living in the midst of animals in human skin. Ifa advises
you to offer ebo and feed Ogun in order to be victorious. There is the need
for you offer ebo with 2 roosters. You need to feed Ogun with 1 big
rooster, 1 big tortoise, roasted corn, roasted yam, 2 snails, a lot of palm oil,
a lot of raffia palm wine and money. On this, Ifa says:

Sekeseke
Dia fun Oniwaaye eniyan
Dia fun Oniwaaye eranko
Oniwaaye eranko ko je k’Oniwaaye eniyan o mi
Ebo ni won ni ki oniwaaye enniyan o waa se
O gbebo, o rubo
Nje sa ma le won niso o
Omo eranko, won o moja ofa
Omo eranko.

Translation:
Sekeseke (alias)
He was the Awo who cast Ifa for human beings
And also for animals in human skin
When coming from heaven to earth
The animals in human skin did not give human beings breathing space
Oniwaaye eniyan was advised to offer ebo
He complied
Now continue to pursue them
 These animals in human skin
They do not know the work of arrows
Please continue to pursue them.
11. Ifa says that you are a born leader from heaven and that you shall attain
your leadership position here on earth. This is the more reason why it is a
taboo for you to engage in any misunderstanding or quarrel with anybody.
Ifa says that you shall be loved, hailed and respected by all. Ifa states
further that many will accept you as their leader.
Ifa advises you to offer ebo with 2 sheep. You will use one for ebo and the
other one to feed your Ori. After this, you will use fruits to serve egbe. Ifa
assures you that egbe is solidly behind you. On this Ifa says:

Translation:

12. Ifa says that you are truly a born leader. Ifa however observes that your
fortune had come down a little. You do not need to despair because Ifa
will increase your worth in several folds. Ifa says that there two of
involved in this present predicament and both of shall smile at the end of
the day. Ifa advises you to offer ebo with 8 guinea fowls and money. Feed
Ifa with 1 matured she-goat, feed Sango 1 matured ram, feed odu with 1
matured ram and feed your Ori with 1 sheep. This is the stanza of Otura
Tuka that usually changes the lives of Otura Tukaa children for the better.
 It moves them from grass to grace, from disappointments to achievement
and from disillusionment to contentment. On this, Ifa says:

O gba jo
O tu raka
O tu raka
O gba jo o
Igi waa gbun ni’gbo
E n so
Opo eeyan to gbun laarin ilu nko
Emi le ri so sinu re o?
Dia fun Olokun
Nijo omi okun o to bu boju
Dia fun Olosa
Nijo omi osa o to bu san ese
Won ni ki won kara nle ebo ni ki won se
Won gbebo nibe, won sebo
Nje Okun lolori omi
Osa lolori odo

Translation:
It gathered together
And then scattered
After scattering
It gathered together again
Because you saw a crooked tree in the forest
You were complaining
What about many people who are crooked in the town?
What do you have to say to that?
These were Ifa’s declarations to Olokun, the sea deity
When the water in the sea was not enough to wash one’s face
Also declared to Olosa, the lagoon deity
When the water in the lagoon was not enough to wash one’s leg
They were advised to offer ebo
And they both complied
Behold okun, the sea is the head of all waters
And Osa, the lagoon is the head of all rivers

13. Ifa says that it is a taboo for you to eat hare or rabbit. Instead Ifa advises
to eat eere, porcupine. Ifa says that eating hare or rabbit may make give
birth to abiku children or make your wife to have the problems of losing
her pregnancies. Ifa advises you to offer with 1 matured he-goat and
 money. You are also advised to use porcupine meat to feed Ifa. A stanza in
Otura Tukaa states thus:

Igi igbo abijin rereere loganjo

Dia fun won ni Ikamogun
Omo Elepe won o jeran ehoro
Kiki eran eere lobe
Igba ti won n sunkun awon o romo bi
Ebo ni won ni ki won waa se o
Won gbebo nibe won ntubo o
Ko pe o, ona o jin o
Ka wa ba ni ni jebutu omo
Jebutu omo laa ba lese Obarisa

Translation:
The forest tree with a wide shade in the middle of the night
This was the Ifa cast for them at Ikamogun land
The children of Elepe who must never eat hare/rabbit
Those who are allowed to have instead porcupine meat in their soup
pot
When they were lamenting their inability to have children
They were advised to offer ebo
They complied
Not too long, not too far
Come and meet us abundant children
With abundant children we celebrate under Obarisa.

14. Ifa says that you need Sekete, maize beer regularly to serve Ifa and Osun.
Serving Ifa and Osun with sekete on a regular basis will not only
guarantee you many children and followers, it will ensure that you
overcome all oppositions and put you on top of any situation at all times.
Consequent upon this, Ifa advises you to offer ebo with 3 hens, 3 roosters,
8 rats, 8 fish and money. After this, there is the need to feed Ifa and Osun
with sekete. On this, Ifa says:

Omo aroti oka se aremo
O digba ekinni
Won gbogun dode Ika
Won muti oka
Won logun lo o
O digba ekeji
 Won gbogun dode Ika

He was the awo who cast Ifa for the inhabitants of Ika land

At the first instance,
War was waged against Ika land
They drank maize beer
And sent the war packing
At the second instance
War was waged against them
They drank maize beer
And they overcame the war
At the third instance
War was also waged against them
The also drank the maize beer
Still, they conquered
Here comes sekete, the fertility drink
He who drinks sekete shall be blessed with many children and
followers.

15. Ifa says that you need to ensure that your daughter (if you have any) is
given to an Awo in marriage. This will prevent the child from dying young.
This same child must be doing ose-Ifa every 5 days in order to prolong her
life. On this, Ifa says:

Ebo ni won ni o waa se o

16. Ifa says that something is happening presently and people are waiting for
your disgrace and humiliation. Ifa advises you to offer ebo with 2 he-goats
and money and also to serve Esu with 1 he-goat. Ifa assures you that your
enemies shall wait indefinitely for the day that you will be put to shame; and
that day will never come. Ifa however warns you to be aware that you gave of
people out there waiting for your humiliation. You must therefore be very
careful in all that you do. Please do not give your enemies the opportunity to
laugh at your expense. On this, Ifa says:

Kan-an yanrin awo oko

Eepa ni o lorun keregbe
Dia fun Sekere
Ti won ni o wa sebo ojo esin ma k’ola
O gbebo, o rubo

Translation:
Kan-an yanrin awo oko
Eepa ni o lorun keregbe
They were the Awo who cast Ifa for Sekere, the beaded bottled
calabash
He was advised to offer ebo against being ridiculed tomorrow
He complied

Like a beaded bottled calabash, no rainfall can subject it to ridicule. In the same vein,
no evil machinations of your enemies will put you to ridicule.
