THE PASSIVE
1.Se pone como sujeto el complemento que haya detrás del vbo en activa, ya
Sea directo o indirecto.
The audience cheered the band.-- “The band was cheered by the audience”.
Existen dos formas en inglés:
- Verbos con dos complementos son: offer, give, tell, show, send, lend y pay.
They had offered two front-row seats to the couple.--
“The couple had been offered two front-row seats”.
“Two front-row seats had been offered to the couple”.
Si el CI es pronombre objeto, se cambia a la forma de pronombre sujeto.
The paparazzi will photographed us at the concert.
“We will be photographed at the concert by the paparazzi”.
2.Se pone el vbo to be en el mismo tiempo que tenia el vbo principal en voz
Activa y el vbo principal en participio.
They gave an award to the young actor.-- “The young actor was given an award”.
Los modales y el be going to no cambian, el vbo que lo sigue es el que se pone en
Pasiva. The crowd shouldn't have booed the singer.
“The singer shouldn't have been booed by the crowd.”
3.Se coloca el sujeto de la activa al final, precedido de by. Hay que cambiarlo por
Su correspondiente pronombre objeto si es uno personal.
My sister designed the costume fot the party.
“The costume for the party was designed by my sister. ”

Have/get + something + done

+ Sentido pasivo, el CD Aunque ambos se
