Ordinal Numbers

(Nmeros ordinales)

Ordinal numbers are those who order a set of items according to their position
in a given numerical sequence, are used to bring order to situations, objects or
people, usually when you are making lists of things or when you are telling a
series of events.
Nmeros Ordinal Son aquellos que ordenan un conjunto de elementos de
acuerdo a su posicin en determinada sucesin numrica, se utilizan para
poner orden en las situaciones, objetos o personas.

Regla 1: Los nmeros ordinales del primero al tercero se escriben:

Regla 3: Del nmero veinte para formar un nmero ordinal que termine en 1, 2
o 3 se empleara el asignado correspondiente first, second y trird

 20th = Twentieth
21st = Twenty first
22nd = Twenty second
23th = Twenty third
24th = Twenty fourth
25th = Twenty fifth
30th = Thirtieth

Regla 4: Tomando como base los nmeros cardinales que terminan en cero
( 20, 30, 40 etc ) en ingles terminan en " y ", entonces esa terminancin se
suprime y se reemplaza por "ieth " as:

g. ochentaavo
h. noventaavo
