modernicemos nuestra
apicultura y la hagamos más

(hacha, machete, barra, etc.)
3. Una caja moderna.
4. Bastidores alambrados.
5. Tapa y piso.
 Material necesario para trasegar:
6. Hilo cáñamo o ligas para
amarrar los panales rústicos a
los bastidores modernos.
7. Un cuchillo bien afilado para
cortar los panales rústicos.
8. Una jaula para apresar la
reina (puede ser una caja de
cerillos)
9. Una cubeta para recoger los
panales con miel y cera que
no puedan aprovechase
 Tareas a realizar para pasar una colonia rústica a
colmena moderna:
1. Echar varias bocanadas de humo por el hueco que la
abeja utiliza de piquera.
2. Ir abriendo espacio donde se encuentra la colonia, hasta
exponer los panales (echar humo).
3. Cortar los panales uno a uno
e ir amarrándolos a los bastidores
para pasarlos a la nueva caja,
tratando de darle la misma
distribución de la colmena rústica.
 Tareas a realizar para pasar una colonia rústica a
colmena moderna:
5. Fijarse de que la reina no vaya en los panales para no
dañarla o maltratarla.
6. Si no ha localizado la reina, al llegar al último panal, trabaje
con cuidado, localice la reina e introdúzcala en una jaulita,
para que las abejas alimenten
la reina.
7. Poner la jaula con la reina en la nueva caja, entre dos
panales de cría abierta
