¿Qué son la flora y la
fauna?
La fauna y la flora son elementos que pertenecen a un
ecosistema específico. Son seres vivos que se desarrollan
en una región geográfica o país determinado y que
presentan características que los representa y diferencia de
otro tipo de especies, a eso se le llama fauna y flora
autóctona ya que es exclusiva de ese lugar
 La flora son todas las especies vegetales que conforman el
ecosistema de una determinada región geográfica. Este tipo
de especies puede ser producto por la naturaleza propia del

cultivo de las mismas. Cuando hablamos de la flora,
estamos hablando de flores, plantas, plantas acuáticas,
flora árboles e incluso hongos o bacterias de un lugar y en un

Características de la flora

Algunas características que representan a la flora son:

● Puede variar debido a distintos factores: distintos tipos de clima, el
relieve, la altitud, la contaminación, la presencia del hombre, etc.
● Existen miles de especies de flores, plantas y árboles en el mundo, por
eso contamos con una gran variedad de flora en todo el planeta
● Se dividen en diferentes tipos de flora
Tipos de flora
Autóctona o nativa
Se caracteriza por el crecimiento de las
plantas, árboles, arbustos, flores, etc.
de forma natural en un lugar
determinado, es asociada a condiciones
o ecosistemas concretos
Agrícola
Son todas aquellas especies de plantas,
árboles, arbustos, flores, etc. que han
sido incorporadas al ambiente a través
del cultivo humano para distintos usos,
tales como el alimento

Puede variar debido a distintos factores: el
agua, la temperatura y la flora contribuyen a
la distribución de los animales, como también
otros factores como la contaminación
ambiental, la presencia de los seres humanos
y las relaciones de competencia o
depredación que se produzca entre los
habitantes de un ecosistema determinado
Hay muchas especies diferentes de animales
en su hábitat. Según las características tanto
del animal como del hábitat, tenemos una
gran variedad de fauna en todo el mundo y es
necesario cuidarla porque muchas de estas
especies están en peligro de extinción
Existen diferentes tipos de fauna
Tipos de fauna

Silvestre o autóctona Doméstica

Este tipo de fauna caracteriza a los animales Son todos aquellos animales que han sido
que viven en un hábitat determinado con total domesticados, ya estén libres en su hábitat o
libertad de movimiento, ya que no están encerrados. Tienen la característica principal
domesticados por el hombre de ser explotados por el ser humano
