EL GERUNDIO Y EL INFINITIVO

EL GERUNDIO
El gerundio es cuando el verbo acaba en -ing.

Hace de sustantivo:

- Sujeto de la oración Improving my French is necessary,

- Como CD de algunos verbos como: finish, enjoy, avoid, miss,
recommend, suggest, imagine, regret, keep, mind, dislike,
- Detrás de preposiciones
- Detrás de algunas estructuras: can’t stand, feel like, don’t mind, it’s no
use, look forward to, have no problem, have fun, spend time.
EL INFINITIVO
Forma verbal precedida de to. Se usa:

- Detrás de verbos como: decide, want, promise, hope, pretend, refuse,

offer, agree, seem, appear, choose, expect, learn, plan, wish, allow,
etc.

He refused to go to the party.

- Detrás de adjetivos como: easy, happy, sad, lucky, weak, hard, nice,
etc.
