Abstract
Once the piece is plated, it is not necessary to use gloves or any other kind of
protection to work with them. Once the structures are plastinated they are not
going to decompose, the plastination allows the manipulation as if the preparation
was originally made in plastic and that is why it is possible to manipulate it without
any kind of biological risk. The plastic is not only around the anatomical piece but
from the inside. All spaces occupied by water are replenished with plastic by
means of vacuum processes. The plastination allows to have completely flexible
preparations which is indispensable for the anatomical knowledge of the block of
viscera. This technique allows to approach the human body to any person, not
only to the doctors but to the whole community in knowing about the functioning
and structure of our body because there is no taboo for the manipulation of
corpses, understanding that they are plastic forms.
