Introducción
Esta herramienta permite calcular la carga de bombeo y la capacidad necesaria del
módulo fotovoltaico solar, y seleccionar tecnologías de bombeo adecuadas. Es
particularmente relevante para el módulo DISEÑA de la caja de herramientas de
SPIS.

La publicación de la Caja de herramientas de sistemas de riego solar ha sido posible gracias al
apoyo brindado por la iniciativa mundial Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for
Development (PAEGC) (Energización Rural: Un gran desafío energético para el desarrollo). En
2012, la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID), la Agencia
Sueca de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (Sida), el Ministerio Federal de
Cooperación Económica y Desarrollo (BMZ) de Alemania, la empresa de energía Duke Energy
Corporation y la Corporación de Inversiones Privadas en el Extranjero (OPIC) juntaron
recursos para crear la iniciativa PAEGC. El objetivo de PAEGC es fomentar nuevos enfoques
sostenibles con el fin de acelerar el desarrollo y asegurar el establecimiento de energías
limpias que incrementen la productividad y/o el valor de la agricultura en países en desarrollo y
regiones emergentes sin acceso a fuentes de energía confiables, asequibles y limpias.

Antecedentes
La pérdida de energía se produce dentro de una red de tuberías de distribución debido a la fricción del agua al pasar por
las mismas. Esto ocurre en una tubería recta, pero también cada vez que el flujo experimenta un cambio de dirección o
un cambio en el área transversal por la presencia de curvas, codos, uniones y válvulas. Un buen diseño debería permitir
que no se pierda más del 10% de la energía de bombeo por causa de la fricción.

TERMINOLOGÍA
Presión necesaria

La cantidad de irradiación en un día sobre una superficie con la inclinación óptima, orientada al ecuador. Los datos
sobre irradiación se pueden consultar en diversos sitios web, como por ejemplo: www.solargis.info. - mín. 1 - máx. 7
La cantidad de horas de sol efectivas en el lugar de construcción. Por definición, la cantidad de horas de sol efectivas
es igual a la irradiación solar. P. ej. 6,2 kWh/m² -> 6,2 horas. Para cumplir las necesidades de bombeo anuales
seleccione el valor mensual más bajo.
La cantidad total de agua necesaria diariamente para cultivos y/o animales que se extrae mediante bombeo.
La pérdida de carga causada por filtrado o fertirrigación. Si hay instalado un medidor de agua, compruebe los valores
exactos en la hoja de datos del fabricante.

Módulo fotovoltaico fijo o con seguidor de un eje. El seguimiento de un eje se basa en el supuesto de un
rendimiento de un 25 % más. - “fijo” - “seguidor de un eje”
En función del tipo y las dimensiones del sistema de riego, deben satisfacerse diferentes necesidades de presión. La
presión necesaria es suministrada por la bomba y se expresa como una pérdida de carga.
Las necesidades de presión dependen del plan de riego. Los datos específicos se pueden obtener del fabricante.
Compruebe los valores que aparecen más abajo para una estimación aproximada.
Todas las pérdidas del módulo fotovoltaico comparadas con las condiciones estándar de medida (CEM):
temperatura, polvo, desajuste del módulo, envejecimiento, pérdidas del cable, etc. - estánd. 25 - mín. 0
La carga dinámica total especifica la carga estática desde el nivel de agua de origen hasta el punto más elevado del
sistema más las pérdidas por fricción dinámica. Para diámetros grandes de tuberías y para tuberías cortas, se
pueden obviar las pérdidas de fricción. - mín. 1 - máx. 1000
Las necesidades de agua especifican el agua que usted necesita al día. - mín. 1 - máx. 1000
