1. Asegúrese de que el conjunto del árbol de levas esté limpio y sin daños.

3. Instale con cuidado el conjunto del árbol de levas (8) en el bloque de cilindros. Asegúrese de
que las marcas de superhéroe (X) estén alineadas en los siguientes engranajes:

Engranaje del cigüeñal (7)

Engranaje del arbol de levas (4)

Engranaje loco (6)

Nota: No dañe los lóbulos del árbol de levas ni los cojinetes del árbol de levas.

Nota: El motor C2.2 tiene un retenedor de árbol de levas diferente al de los motores C1.1, C1.5
y C1.7. El procedimiento de extracción es similar para todos los modelos. El C1.1 tiene
sujetadores diferentes a los de C1.5, C1.7 y C2.2. El procedimiento de extracción es similar
para todos los modelos.
4. Place camshaft retainer (5) in position. Align the holes in the retainer with the holes in the
cylinder block.

5. Rotate camshaft gear (4) to align the access hole in the camshaft gear with the hole for fastener
(2).
For the C1.1, C1.5, and C1.7 engines, install allen head screw or bolt (2) and bolt (1). Tighten
fasteners (1) and (2) to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in).

For C2.2 engines, install bolt (2) and tighten the bolt to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in). Rotate
camshaft gear (4) to align the access hole in the camshaft gear with the hole for bolt (1). Install
bolt (1) and tighten the bolt to a torque of 10 N·m (89 lb in).

6. Install slider (3) to camshaft gear (4).

7. If the engine is equipped with a mechanical fuel transfer pump, install the fuel transfer pump.
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Transfer Pump - Remove and Install".
