vez” (Juan 14:3).

Texto bíblico:
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also
which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
The second coming of Christ
Dear friends, receive a special greeting for you. Today we talk about a very important topic
that Bible teaches us, imagen 1 which is: "the second coming of Christ." This topic fills our
lives with joy and hope in this time in which we live.

Introduction:
The second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of the church, the great culmination of the
gospel. The coming of the Savior will be literal, personal, visible, and global in
scope.Imagen 2 When the Lord returns, the righteous dead will be resurrected and, along
with the righteous who are alive, will be glorified and taken to heaven, but the wicked will
die. The time when this event will occur has not been revealed and therefore we are urged
to be prepared at all times.
The Second Coming of Jesus, mentioned some 300 times in the N.T. imagen 3 it is one of
the basic doctrines of Scripture.
The testimony of Scripture.
The certainty of the second coming is rooted in the reliability of Scripture. Shortly before
his death, Jesus told his disciples that he would return to his Father in order to prepare a
place for them. But, he promised, "I will come again" (John 14:3). Imagen 4

Biblical text:
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.

The second advent and the human race

The second coming of Christ will affect the two great divisions of humanity: those who
have accepted him along with the salvation he brings, and those who have turned away
from him.
The resurrection of the dead in Christ imagen 5
At the sound of the trumpet that announces the return of Christ, the righteous dead will be
raised incorruptible and immortal (1 Cor. 15: 52,53). At that time, "the dead in Christ will
rise first" (1 Thess. 4:16).
The translation of living believers
When the righteous dead are resurrected, the righteous who live in the world at the second
coming are transformed. "For it is necessary that this corruptible clothe itself with
incorruption and that mortal clothe itself with immortality" (1 Cor. 15:53) imagen 6
The death of unbelievers
For those who are saved, the second coming of Christ is an occasion of indescribable joy
and excitement, but for those who are lost it will be a devastating scene of terror.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also
which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
