ASPECTOS PARTICULARES DE LA ASIGNATURA

 No es un curso de inglés: escuchar, hablar, leer, escribir; sino de comprensión lectora.


 ASESORIAS: Se cuadran con los estudiantes de manera sincrónica o asincrónica. Pueden
ser dudas que me escriban al correo. O por correo concertar un día para vernos por meet.
 EVALUACIONES: Al finalizar cada paquete hay una evaluación del respectivo paquete.
 La calificación final del curso que se reportará a Registro Académico será de
APROBADO o NO APROBADO, y NO es habilitable.
 Si es posible que impriman Uds el paquete, o tengan un programa en el que puedan
escribir y responder sobre el archivo, eso les facilitará la realización de los ejercicios.
 Usar SIEMPRE el DICCIONARIO: NO el TRADUCTOR.

Present Simple and Present Continuous Rules -s and -ing
Present Simple Affirmative Sentences: Rules to add -ing: ando / endo
Spelling Rules for the –s at the end of the verb in
the third singular person (he, she, it) 1. General rule: add -ing: working, watch, walk, see,
agreeing, open, listen, order, happen, enjoy,
playing
 General Rule: add –s to the verb: work = 2. Verbs ending in silent e, drop/delete that e and
works, drinks, eats, enjoys, plays add ing: dancing, living, writing, coming, make,
 Verb end in sh, ch, x, s, o, z add –es= take, have /// seeing, agreeing.
3. Verbs ending in CVC with accent in the vowel,
washes, teaches, fixes, kisses, goes, does, double the last consonant and add ing. Sitting,
buzzes getting, winning, running, jogging
 Verb end in c+y remove, delete, drop y and Beginning, prefer, compel, admit, commit;
BUT NOT: open, listen, order, happen, visit,
add ies studies, copies, flies offer, answer BECAUSE they do not have the
 Have => has accent in the last vowel.
Exemptions: verbs ending in w, x, y, z. snowing,
show, fixing, mixing, enjoy, playing
4. Verbs ending in ie, drop them and add y and then
ing: die: dying, lie: lying, tie: tying
5. Verbs ending in ic add k and then ing:
trafficking, picnicking, panicking,
