La Escuela de Música del Colegio Brains les presenta su oferta formativa para el próximo Curso
2023/24. Conocidas son las ventajas que ofrece la música en el desarrollo psicomotriz y cognitivo
en los primeros años de la infancia. Nuestra propuesta ofrece a los alumnos la posibilidad de
iniciarse en esta actividad desde una perspectiva atractiva y lúdica.

• PLAZO DE RESERVA DE MATRICULA, del 23 al 31 de mayo.

A las personas interesadas en solicitar la reserva de plaza para sus hijos/as el próximo curso, les
informamos lo siguiente:

• Para alumnos de NUEVA INCORPORACIÓN, notificaciones de NO renovación o que deseen

modificar sus horarios o asignaturas, se realizará mediante FORMULARIO ON LINE (podrá
encontrar el link al final de la circular).

• Para los alumnos actuales de la escuela de música la RENOVACIÓN SERÁ AUTOMÁTICA (en el
caso de continuar con mismas asignaturas y mismo rango horario).

• El importe de la reserva de plaza es de 30 euros, y se cobrará por recibo bancario en el mes de

julio 2023. Este importe será descontado del primer recibo (septiembre) del Curso 2023/24.

• Nos regimos según calendario escolar del centro, y garantizamos una totalidad de 36 clases
lectivas durante el curso.

• Los horarios se organizarán de acuerdo con la disponibilidad del alumno, las plazas existentes
y a su preferencia horaria, escolar (durante el recreo) o fuera del horario escolar (a partir de las
16:30). Los horarios se conocerán y se informarán a las familias por email, durante la primera
semana de septiembre.

 ACTIVIDADES DE MÚSICA PARA ALUMNOS DE 1ºPRIMARIA A BACHILLERATO

Iniciaremos nuestras actividades extraescolares de Música el 6 de septiembre del curso 2023-

24.

ASIGNATURAS TRONCALES:

INSTRUMENTO: (A partir de 1º primaria).

PIANO, VIOLÍN, GUITARRA CLÁSICA Y ELÉCTRICA, BAJO y BATERÍA.
Grupos de hasta 3 alumnos en Piano, y de hasta 2 alumnos en el resto de
instrumentos.
1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar o de 1 hora fuera del horario
escolar.
Precio: 99€/mes.

CANTO: (A partir de 3º primaria).

El instrumento es la propia voz. Los alumnos realizarán técnicas devocalización, respiración,
relajación, expresión corporal y afinación con un repertorio actual y que despierte su interés.
Grupos de hasta 2 alumnos.
1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar, o de 1 hora fuera del horario escolar.
Precio: 89€/mes.

ASIGNATURAS COMPLEMENTARIAS:

MÚSICA Y MOVIMIENTO: (Sólo para 1º primaria).

El alumno interiorizará rasgos fundamentales del fenómeno musical como la
melodía, el ritmo, el juego de intensidades o el aspecto tímbrico, a la vez que se
estimula el conocimiento y dominio del propio cuerpo y de sus posibilidades
expresivas. Se introducirán las nociones fundamentales de notación musical,
como eslabón previo a la asignatura de Lenguaje Musical, que podrá cursar desde
2º de Primaria.

1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar.

Precio: 62€/mes.

LENGUAJE MUSICAL: (A partir de 2º de primaria)

Complementaria al estudio de un instrumento. Esta clase nos ayuda a
comprender la música, a leerla, interpretarla y escribirla. Está compuesta
por signos y elementos que permiten representar la música a través de un
pentagrama, en el que se registran los elementos del ritmo, la melodía,
armonía y el pulso.
1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar.
CORO: (De 1º a 3º primaria)
El objetivo de esta asignatura es que los niños se expresen a través del canto. Es un trabajo
grupal en el que se persigue un resultado estético musical, donde compartir, cooperar y
empatizar son valores que están en juego desde el primer momento.

1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar.

Precio: 46€/mes.

TALLER DE CANTO: (A partir de 4º primaria)

En esta asignatura se alternan de manera equilibrada y dinámica, el trabajo coral y la
participación solista de cada uno de los alumnos. Consecuentemente se realizan ejercicios de
técnica vocal y se trabaja fundamentalmente un repertorio actual y atractivo.
1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar.
Precio: 46€/mes.

CONJUNTO INSTRUMENTAL: (A partir de 3º primaria)

Esta asignatura es complementaria al estudio de un instrumento o canto, y brinda a los alumnos
la posibilidad de tocar en grupo. Abordando un repertorio variado de rock y pop, disfrutan de
una práctica más completa y dinámica.

Grupos de hasta 6 alumnos.

1 clase semanal de 45 minutos en horario escolar.

Precio: 27€/mes.
Si está matriculado en instrumento o canto.

The Brains School of Music, presents its training offer for the next academic year 2023/24. The
advantages the music offers in psychomotor and cognitive development in childhood are
known. Ourproposal offers children the possibility to initiate themselves in the study of music
from an attractive and playful perspective.

• ENROLMENT PERIOD: from 23th to 31th of May.

With regard to the reservation of enrolment for the following year:

• The enrollment reservations for students of NEW INCORPORATION or NOTIFICATIONS OF

NON-RENEWAL WILL be made through FORM ONLINE (you can find the LINK at the end of the
attached information).

• For the current students of the music school THE RENOVATION WILL BE AUTOMATIC, (is the
student continues in the same subject and the same Schedule.

• The cost of the reservation of places is 30 euros, this will be charged by bank receipt in
July 2023. This amount will be deducted from the first receipt (September) of the 2023/24
Course.

• We follow the school calendar of the center, and we guarantee a total of 36 classes
during the course.

• The schedules will be known and the families will be informed by email, during the first
week of September.

 MUSIC ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENTS FROM 1ºPRIMARY TO BACHILLERATO

We will start our extracurricular Music activities on September 6, of course 2023-24.

CORE SUBJECTS:

INSTRUMENT: Piano, Violin and Guitar Classic and Electric, Bass, and Drum.
Groups of up to 3 students in Piano and of up to 2 students in the resto of instruments.
1 weekly class of 45 minutes during school hours, or 1 hour outside of school hours.
Price: 99€/month.

SINGING: (From the Primary 3)

Here, the instrument is the actual voice. The students will be learning to use vocalisation,
breathing, relaxation and voice warm-up exercises, as well as exercises to improve their physical
expression, with a contemporary repertoire that sparks their interest.
Price: 89€/month.

COMPLEMENTARY SUBJECTS:

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT: (only for Primary 1): A first active and fun
approach to music, the student will internalize the fundamental features
of musical sensation such as melody, rhythm, intensities in play or timbral
aspects, while at the same time, stimulating the knowledge and mastery of
one's own body and its expressive possibilities. The fundamental notions
of musical notation will be introduced, as a previous link to the subject of
Music Theory, which can be taken from the 2nd year of Primary.

1 weekly class of 45 minutes during school hours.

MUSIC THEORY: (From the Primary 2)

This complements learning to play an instrument. The class helps us to
understand music, read it, perform it, write it and create it. It consists
of symbols and elements that enable us to represent music, by means
of a stave where the rhythm, melody, harmony and beat are
represented.
1 weekly class of 45 minutes during school hours.

CHORAL SINGING: (only for Primary 2). The aim of this subject is for the children to be able to
express themselves through song. It is a group project which is intended to produce an aesthetic
musical outcome, where the principles of sharing, cooperation and empathy are involved from
the word go.
1 weekly class of 45 minutes during school hours.
Price: 46€/month.
SINGING WORKSHOP (From the Primary 4):
In this subject, each student alternates between choral and solo performance, in a
balanced and dynamic way. Consequently, students do exercises to improve their vocal
technique, and they mainly work with a contemporary and appealing repertoire.
1 weekly class of 45 minutes during school hours.
Price: 46€/month.

INSTRUMENTAL GROUP: (From the Primary 3)

This subject complement learning to play an instrument or singing, and it provides the students
with the opportunity of playing in a group. They work with a rock and pop repertoire, thereby
gaining more comprehensive and dynamic experience.

Groups of up to 6 students.
1 weekly 45-minute class during school hours.

Price: 27€/month.
If the student has enrolled for an instrument or for singing.

Price: 62€/month.
If the student has not enrolled for an instrument or for singing.
