Overall Assessment 2- Production Test

A continuación, encontrarás la tarea de producción oral para el Overall Assessment 2, donde pondrás en
práctica las habilidades aprendidas en la asignatura. Esta presentación debe realizarse:

• De manera presencial
• En Inglés
• Es individual
• Presentación debe ser apoyada por un PPT. El PPT debe tener un máximo de 10 diapositivas
• Cada estudiante debe hablar un mínimo de 2 minutos a 2 minutos 30 segundos como máximo.
• Cada estudiante puede utilizar tarjetas de apoyo durante su presentación.
• Si el estudiante lee la mayor parte de su presentación, será calificado con la nota mínima de 2.0
• La/ el estudiante debe elegir solo un tema a presentar.
• El tema por desarrollar debe ser completamente original, sin copiar en parte o totalidad desde
otra fuente. Como se consigna en el artículo 24 del reglamento académico de los estudiantes de
la UST sobre las faltas detalladas en el artículo 11 letra e) del reglamento de convivencia y
responsabilidad disciplinaria, cualquier copia total o parcial significará calificación con nota 1,0
además de las sanciones disciplinares correspondientes.
• Los temas para elegir son:

1.- Keeping in mind that Sustainability means “using natural products and energy in a way that does
not harm the environment”, talk about this concept and refer to the role of governments, young
people, scientists, and older generations.

2.- What is the role of two humanitarian organizations you admire. Give details.

3.- Talk about any groups or organizations that are protecting the natural resources of our country.
Refer to their activities and their impact on our society, if any.

Remember to use all the communication skills and strategies you have learnt in your English courses in
general, and the new skills and contents in this new course. Here is a list to check your video before
sending it:

Did you discuss the topic assigned?

Did you speak clearly and with appropriate rate of delivery?
Did you use the correct grammar? (Include reported speech)
Did you use appropriate and varied vocabulary?
Did you use the correct stress in syllables and utterances?
Did you use the strategies to prepare and give a presentation?
Did you check the pronunciation of words you didn't know?
Did you remember to introduce yourself at the beginning of the presentation?
