Yo he elegido Europa como ejemplo
partido.
¡Buen *n de semana!

There is nothing that de.nes a travel notebook better than the illustration of a map with our route. In today's
post I want to show you my technique when I illustrate maps. I have chosen Europe as an example but these
steps can be applied to any destination. I hope you like this post and use it a lot in your sketchbooks.
We draw softly the contours of the map with an HB pencil or mechanical pencil. We also mark some of the
most important rivers.
We moisten the entire surface of the sheet very well with a mottler and on wet we add the diSerent mixtures
that I detail below. We use a round brush number 12. First we put the blue of the sea and then the ocher for
the land, we add touches of green on forest areas and .nally we splash with sepia. Do not be afraid if some
stains appear, in this case we are very interested in all kinds of textures, this will give the map its own
personality.
With the mixture of ultramarine and indigo and a small brush (number 2) we border the edges adding
de.nition and intensity.
Same mix of indigo and ultramarine, but this time more intense (less water). We apply it with a .ne brush
(number 0) using parallel lines around all the edges (see the detailed image below).
PASO 5: RÍOS
STEP 5: RIVERS
With that same brush (number 0) and mix we add some of the most important rivers to the map.
PASO 6: RECORRIDO
STEP 6: ROUTE
puntos.
With the fountain pen we create some points and name the cities. With HB mechanical pencil and a ruler we
join the points.

no puedo parar!
