A bordo
INTRODUCTION
In the present work, we will be focusing on a respective discussion forum with the film
"The Lord of the Flies", in which each member will be answering various questions
according to the point of view and understanding of each one of us.
In times of World War II an unmarked plane is shot down. On board it are several dozen
British children between the ages of six and twelve. Luck holds for them to fall on a
desert island, isolated from any vestige of civilization. No adults survive the landing, and
the boys are suddenly left alone at the mercy of their own initiative.
"Lord of the Flies" is the first and most famous novel by William Golding. Published in
1954, it is considered a classic of post-war English literature. In the year of its
publication it had hardly any circulation, maintaining a low volume of sales. Years later it
achieved great fame in England, its reading being considered essential in schools and
institutes.

Conclusion
I really liked the book since it is entertaining, scary, funny with many surprises and at
the same time it is scary since all the children wanted to be bosses at the same time
and they fought among themselves and it was also sad because I did not like the part
where they kill the child because I thought that he was a monster of the sea because a
light was found and he was also sad when they separated into different groups and
fought among themselves to decide who was going to rule on that island.
This theory can have various causes. The one that at first glance seems more logical,
the first that comes to mind, the one supported by ethologists, is that human beings are
evil by nature and therefore need an authority that “orders” them how to act.
Another explanation for this theory is that society and laws control the behavior of the
individual in such a way that it is impossible for individual moral norms to form, since he
does not need them if he is guided by the laws and moral norms of society. Therefore,
as soon as this authority exercised by society and the laws is relaxed, the individual
experiences an unusual freedom. This freedom should be restrained by the moral
norms of the individual, but as we have already said that society prevents them from
being formed, this freedom without limits ends in acts of barbarism and brutality.
