Londres es una ciudad global, uno de los centros neurálgicos en el ámbito de las
artes, el comercio, la educación, el entretenimiento, la moda, las finanzas, los
medios de comunicación, la investigación, el turismo o el transporte.8
Londres es uno de los grandes destinos turísticos del mundo. Cuando llegas, te
das cuenta rápidamente del porqué.
El clima de Londres es de tipo templado oceánico. En verano no suele hacer
mucho calor, con temperaturas que a veces no superan los 25 grados, y los
inviernos no son demasiado fríos, aunque en ocasiones nieva.

El TRANSPORTES
Quizás la mejor manera de moverse por Londres sea en metro, aunque no lo
recomiendo en las horas pico, sobre todo si vas con maletas.
El metro en Londres funciona de 05.30 a medianoche. Si vas a usarlo bastante lo
más recomendable es comprar una Travel Card, un billete que sirve para moverse
durante un día por la ciudad sin necesidad de tener que hacer colas en las
máquinas automáticas.
QUÉ COMER
En Londres dicen que comer es un poco caro, pero eso será porque no han
buscado bien. Hay restaurantes de todo tipo, de todas las cocinas internacionales,
aunque tal vez lo más barato sea comer en un pub. la cocina inglesa no es famosa
precisamente por su exquisitez que digamos.
QUÉ VER
Serían innumerables los lugares que tendríamos por visitar en Londres. Si
tuviéramos que hacer una selección no podrían faltar el British Museum, el museo
más antiguo del mundo, la National Gallery, las vistas de Londres desde el London
Eye, el Palacio de Buckingham, el Big Ben, el Edificio del Parlamento y la Torre de
Londres, situada junto al famoso puente.

WHAT TO EAT
In London they say that eating is a bit expensive, but that's because they haven't
looked properly. There are restaurants of all kinds, of all international cuisines,
although perhaps the cheapest thing is to eat in a pub. English is not exactly
famous for its exquisiteness that we say.
WHAT TO SEE
There would be countless places we would have to visit in London. If we had to
make a selection we could not miss the British Museum, the oldest museum in the
world, the National Gallery, the views of London from the London Eye, Buckingham
Palace, Big Ben, the Parliament Building and the Tower of London, located next to
the famous bridge.
