LECCIÓN 7: el es James.
Gramática: pronombres de sujeto, el verbo “to be” singular
To be= ser/estar
I am/ I’m (Hi, I’m Fred = hola, soy Fred)
You are/ You’re (You’re Jennifer, right? = tú eres Jennifer, verdad?
She is/ she’s (How’s Julia?- she’s good. Cómo está Julia?- Ella está bien.
He is/ he’s (he’s James= el es James)
It is/ it’s (it’s a bee = eso es una abeja)
Usamos he para referirnos a un hombre, she a una mujer e it para referirnos a un animal u
objeto. Estas palabras concuerdan con la forma is.
I’m from the USA. I’m American. Soy de EEUU. Soy estadounidense.
I speak Russian, and she speaks Portuguese. Yo hablo ruso y ella habla portugués
You speak English selo. Tú hablas bien inglés.
