Cities, towns and villages.

A big city A small town A village

There are big and small cities, big and small towns. Big cities and towns have big city
centers: there are cinemas, arcades and shopping malls. This is different in small
cities or towns: there are small shops, stores and more accessible open spaces.
Villages are also different. They are in rural areas and they can have a school, a
church, a police station and a post office. Some places are by a river, a lake, a
lagoon or the sea. Others are in mountains, valleys or plains. City, town or village,
they are part of the people living in it.

town in the west of the province of Buenos Aires. I like my town. There’s a bank, a post
office and a train station. Pellegrini is on the plains of La Pampa. There are lagoons nearby.

I sometimes visit my grandmother in Olavarría. It’s a big city with a big city center. I love
