La incertidumbre es alta cuando nos referimos a los efectos que podría ocasionar el
cambio climático en relación a la afectación de los bosques. Los modelos que se
generan para intentar predecir escenarios futuros no necesariamente incluyen todos
los elementos que podrían influir en la predicción por lo que George E.P. Box dijo
“todos los modelos son erróneos, pero algunos son útiles” para describir que ningún
modelo es acertado, pero ayudan cuando se acercan a la realidad.
