De acuerdo con el Sistema Informático de Notificación de Accidentes de Trabajo, Incidentes Peligrosos y

Enfermedades Ocupacionales – SAT, en el mes de setiembre de 2020 se registraron 2437 notificaciones lo
que representa una disminución de 12,6% respecto al mes de setiembre del año anterior, y un aumento
de 68,3% con respecto al mes de agosto del año 2020. Del total de notificaciones, el 98,28% corresponde
a accidentes de trabajo no mortales, el 0,37% accidentes mortales, el 1,23% a incidentes peligrosos y
0,12% a enfermedades ocupacionales. La actividad económica que tuvo mayor número de notificaciones
fue industrias manufactureras con el 23,55%; seguido de actividades inmobiliarias, empresariales y de
alquiler: con el 18,74%; transporte, almacenamiento y comunicaciones con 12,11%; entre otras.

A nivel nacional las formas de accidentes de trabajo no mortales más frecuentes son: esfuerzos físicos o falsos
movimientos (12,03%); golpes por objetos (excepto caídas) (11,08%); caída de personas a nivel (10,00%); entre
otras formas.

De acuerdo con el SAT, en el mes de setiembre de 2020 se registraron en Lima Metropolitana 2 083 notificaciones de
accidentes de trabajo no mortales y mortales lo que representa el 86,8% respecto al número de notificaciones a nivel
nacional, lo cual resulta proporcional con el número de trabajadores en planilla electrónica de Lima Metropolitana, que
representa el 60,5% del total nacional (Planilla Electrónica - febrero 2020)
En segundo orden se ubica la región Callao con 155 notificaciones de accidentes de trabajo no mortales y mortales
6,4%), seguido de Piura con 46 registros (1,8%), y Arequipa con 27 registros (1,0%). Estas 3 regiones representan el
12,8% del total de trabajadores en la planilla electrónica.
