It was a Ghost Town, yeah down by the river.
Well just about twenty miles past county line.
I don't remember, exactly how we got there,
but I ain't ever goin’ to forget the day that Ghost Town
tried
We pulled up, to a filling station.
Yeah right next door was a hotel and saloon.
Let's get crazy! I said to the boys then.
We pulled out our guns and started shooting at the moon!
We got lost in North Dakota.

When that Ghost Town tried to kill me.

Hell, I don't even believe who saved our lives.
I started gambling, and I caught a cheater.
I pulled out my gun and shot him right between the eyes.
He didn't fall down, hell, he didn't even start bleeding
and that's when I noticed there was something definitely
wrong
All the barmaids had turned to demons
and the whiskey in my glass had turned as cold as ice.
I started praying, boys they started screaming!
We all got up and started running for our lives...

Now this next part may seem kinda crazy,
but I swear on my pappy's grave that it's the truth.
We were surrounded in this little prairie,
when the sky turned an awful wicked blue.
There were noises kinda like a train wreck.
I couldn't help but think this day would be my last.
Then the clouds, they started changing
and out from them came the ghost of Johnny Cash!

came down and saved all our lives!
CIUDAD FANTASMA
Era una ciudad fantasma, al sur, junto al río.
A unas 20 millas después del límite del condado.
No recuerdo exactamente cómo llegamos allí,
pero nunca olvidaré el día que esa Ciudad Fantasma lo
intentó.
Nos detuvimos en una gasolinera
y justo al lado había un hotel y salón.
¡Volvámonos locos! Les dije entonces a los chicos.
Sacamos nuestras armas y empezamos a dispararle a la
luna.
Nos perdimos en Dakota del Norte.

Cuando aquella Ciudad Fantasma intentó matarme.
No vais a creeros quién salvo nuestras vidas.
Demonios, ni siquiera yo me creo quien nos salvó la vida.
Empecé a jugar, y cacé a un tramposo.
Saqué mi arma y le disparé justo entre los ojos.

y entonces fue cuando noté que algo iba indiscutiblemente
mal.

Comencé a rezar, y los chicos empezaron a gritar.

Estábamos rodeados in esta pequeña pradera,
cuándo el cielo se tornó de un endiablado azul.
Había ruidos del tipo del que hay en los accidentes de tren.
No puede evitar sino pensar que este día sería el último
para mí.
Entonces las nubes empezaron a cambiar
y de entre ellas salió el espíritu de Johnny Cash
