SIMPLE PAST TENSE

SIMPLE PAST TENSE. En la lengua inglesa, el pasado simple se conoce -Yesterday I bought four books”
como simple past o past simple. Se utiliza para referirse a Ayer compré 4 libros.

En inglés hay dos clases
de verbos: verbos
regulares y verbos
irregulares.
1. Regular verbs o verbos regulares: Son los verbos que se Clean-cleaned-cleaned-limpiar
pueden conjugar sin modificar la raíz. Los verbos regulares Dance-danced-danced-bailar
agregan la terminación ED en el pasado simple y en el Stop-stopped-stopped-parar
participio pasado. Cuando se conjugan en pasado se Study-studied-studied-estudiar
aplican algunas reglas.
2. Irregular verbs o verbos irregulares: Son los verbos que Speak-spoke-spoken-hablar
tienen alteraciones en su raíz en algunas de sus formas en Write-wrote-written-escribir
el pasado simple y participio pasado. Swim-swam-swum-nadar

 1. Put the verbs in the Brackets into Past Simple (all the verbs are regular) and translate into spanish the Reading.
