La obra the house of mango streer es una creación literaria escrita por Sandra Cisneros, una

escritora mexicana muy reconocida por sus portes al mundo literario. La obra narra la historia
de una niña adolescente, llamada Esperanza, quien va descubriéndose a sí misma y al mundo
de su familia, de su comunidad, a la vez con sensibilidad e incluso ternura. La protagonista
presenta en su relato singulares estampas familiares que van armando a lo largo de una trama
en apariencia simple, los intrincados hilos de una red de imágenes, emociones y 4 formas de
convivencia que son la esencia de la identidad del hispanomexicano que habita en los Estados
Unidos.

Ambas nacieron en el año chino del caballo, lo cual de cierta manera as hizo sentir libres, hasta
cierto punto. Resulta muy interesante conocer un poco sobre la historia de su familia y como
esta influye mucho en el comportamiento de Esperanza

Algunos temas que puedo identificar son la vida, ya que nos narra un poco sobre su bisabuela,
como era su espíritu libre y también sobre como esta acabó casandose

El idioma y la identidad también se hacen presentes en el fragmento, ya que menciona sobre

como sus compañeros pronuncian su nombre, o como se escribe aquel en español

Considero que la diversión se podría incluir, ya que ella habla que es igual de libre e indomable
que su abuela, y que quiere heredar todo de ella, menos su tristeza al estar atada a su esposo
por el matrimonio forzoso

Las relaciones sociales también se observan en el fragmento, ya que habla sobre sus amigos en
la escuela y sobre su padre
