INTRODUCCIÓN
Para este segundo período académico y continuar nuestro proceso con el estudio del inglés, en esta
oportunidad haremos énfasis en el desarrollo de las habilidades de comprensión y de producción de
textos en inglés hablando de días y festividades especiales celebradas en los países de habla inglesa en el
mundo, en contraste con el nuestro; así mismo, estudiaremos algunas preposiciones y su uso en contexto,

para dar coherencia a los textos escritos; estudiaremos el vocabulario sobre meses, estaciones y la ropa
que generalmente se utiliza en cada estación o la manera de vestir que más te gusta y con la cual te
sientes más cómodo, dependiendo del clima y del ligar.
Iniciaremos con una lectura sencilla para introducir el tema de las festividades, así mismo estudiaremos
algunos verbos para ampliar el vocabulario, que te permitirán describir diferentes acciones con los cuales
podrás construir mejor tus ideas, y que deberás memorizar y familiarizarte con ellos. Te ejercitarás en la
comprensión de lectura y comprensión de textos relacionados con los temas de estudio, y te darás la
oportunidad de profundizar un poco acerca de las festividades que se celebran en diferentes países del
mundo. Resolverás actividades prácticas donde aplicarás los diferentes temas en contextos específicos.
Te recomiendo que estudies poco a poco el tema en el tiempo indicado y con atención, para que te
familiarices con el vocabulario y las estructuras del inglés, lo cual te permitirá apropiarte un poco más del
idioma y mejorar cada día, elevando tu nivel de desempeño en la asignatura. Recuerda que puedes pedir
la asesoría necesaria al maestro, para despejar las posibles dudas que se te puedan presentar al
desarrollar el trabajo.
