Thursday, June 10
Well, finally, after 24 hours and three flights, I arrived in Athens yesterday morning.
Fortunately, the trip wasn't too bad because I had some interesting travel companions. Last
month, I spent some time studying the Greek alphabet, and amazingly, once I got here, I
discovered that I can actually read Greek signs and place names! Fortunately, I also learned
a few expressions like "thank you" and "hello."  People seem to like it when you try to
speak their language. I've used them a couple of times, but unfortunately, I can't understand
people when they reply to me!

Jueves 10 de junio
Bueno, finalmente, después de 24 horas y tres vuelos, llegué a Atenas

tiempo estudiando el alfabeto griego y, sorprendentemente, una vez que
