Leyenda de la cueva del toro Chilpancingo de los bravos

Un día un Chilpancingueño perseguía a uno de sus animales tratando de

lazarlo, este se perdió en una barranca, y en su desesperada búsqueda el
campesino encontró una cueva, esperanzado en que ahí estaba escondido su
animal entró en ella, y al mirar hacia el fondo, grande fue su sorpresa, pues
había montones de monedas de oro.
corrió hacia ellas, pero de pronto salió un toro negro del fondo de la cueva y
lo revolcó; cuando el hombre despertó se dio cuenta de que estaba mal
herido y sin las monedas de oro
triste y cabizbajo se regresó al pueblo pero volvió varias veces sin encontrar
el oro anhelado, pues por temor al toro nunca logró entrar nuevamente a la
cueva; más tarde antes de morir el campesino gritaba en su delirio lo que le
había sucedido.
