Buscando generar un ranking de las mejores pelculas de la historia del cine, que tuviera en cuenta grandes obras de la cinematografa de diferentes partes del mundo, y que adems combinara la visin de expertos y del pblico en general; generamos esta lista a partir de las 100 mejores pelculas segn el American Film Institute (AFI), las 50 mejores pelculas del British Film Institue (BFI), el Top 250 de Internet Movie Database (IMDB) y 101 Grandes pelculas de la historia del cine de Pelculas Indispensables.
