DEFINIICIÓN
Los sistemas tecnológicos se refieren a elementos que
unidos forman un sistema con el objetivo de resolver un
problema, compuesto por una entrada, un proceso y una
salida.

Comprenden un conjunto de procedimientos y métodos que


sirven para facilitar el trabajo del hombre dentro de un
contexto de acción técnica.

Las unidades que conforman un sistema tecnológico trabajan


entre sí con el fin de controlar, manejar, transportar y/o
controlar materiales bajo objetivos específicos.
HISTORIA
Algunos autores estiman que el nacimiento de los sistemas tecnológicos se
dio en una serie de fases:
● Se manifestó durante el s. XVIII e inicios del s. XIX y se caracterizó
por buscar el mejoramiento de los inventos para crear condiciones
ideales de vida.
● Posteriormente se dio el desarrollo de las invenciones, que fueron
probadas para tratar de satisfacer las necesidades de un conglomerado.
En este proceso histórico se exploraron las potencialidades de los
inventos.
● La siguiente fase se caracteriza por la intervención de elementos
sociales y culturales para nutrir el sistema tecnológico. Las empresas
toman los inventos para el manejo de la manufactura y mercadeo.
HISTORIA
● El sistema tecnológico maduró y se trasladó hacia otros
ámbitos de la vida diaria (situaciones o locaciones). Es en este
punto en donde se establecen estándares de calidad durante los
procesos para la generación del producto. Para ello es
necesario seguir un conjunto de normas y leyes.

● La fase final se caracteriza por el crecimiento y la


competencia. Se busca mejorar los sistemas y servicios, al
mismo tiempo que se diversifican para alcanzar mayor
estabilidad.
