Tema: eficiencia global de los equipos.


Efectividad global del equipo (OEE)
Es un indicador que evalúa el rendimiento del equipo mientras está
en funcionamiento.
Mide el porcentaje del tiempo en que una maquina produce
realmente las piezas (con la calidad requerida), comparadas con el
tiempo ideal que fue planeado para hacerlos.
La diferencia entre real e ideal debe eliminarse, puesto que es
potencialmente un desperdicio.
La ventaja del OEE frente a otros ratios es que mide, en un único
indicador, todos los parámetros fundamentales en la producción
industrial: la disponibilidad, el rendimiento y la calidad.
La OEE atiende todas las pérdidas provocadas por el
equipo, incluyendo
• Que no esté disponible cuando se necesite debido a
paros o pérdidas de configuración y ajuste.
• Que no corra a la tasa óptima debido a la velocidad
reducida o idling (marcha en vacío) y a pérdidas
menores de obstrucción.
• Que no entregue productos de primera calidad
debido a defectos o a pérdidas por re-trabajo y re-
arranque.

La métrica OEE permite
• El índice global, OEE, informa sobre la eficiencia del
proceso productivo con respecto a la capacidad ideal
disponible.

• La categorización de los factores, D, R e Q, y el


análisis de pérdidas informa de donde se encuentran
las pérdidas de productividad.
¿Cómo interpretar el valor del OEE?

Se consideran 6 grandes pérdidas para
el cálculo del OEE:
1. Averías.
2. Cambios de configuración o ajustes.
3. Microparos.
4. Reducción de velocidad.
5. Defectos.
6. Mermas.
La efectividad general del equipo (OEE,
por sus siglas en inglés) es un término
utilizado para evaluar qué tan
eficientemente se está utilizando la
operación de un fabricante. En otras
palabras, la efectividad general del
equipo le ayuda a percatarse de un
problema en sus operaciones,
identificar qué porcentaje del tiempo de
fabricación es realmente productivo y
solucionarlo mientras le brinda una
medición estandarizada para rastrear el
progreso. El objetivo para medir su OEE
es la mejora continua.
Existe cierta polémica acerca de cómo llamar a este
indicador inclinándose ciertos autores por el de efectividad
global o total y otros por el de eficiencia general. El
argumento central para llamarlo efectividad reside en la
potencial confusión que se puede presentar entre el
término eficiencia general, y el factor llamado eficiencia,
rendimiento o desempeño, utilizado para calcular el
indicador.
