 CONCLUSIONES

• La hernia discal es un desplazamiento focal fuera de los limites vertebrales

(vertebra cefálica y caudal).

• Las fisuras anulares se observan en T2 y STIR, pueden ser sintomáticas.

• Se clasifican:
Tipo: protrusión: base (b), es > Ø del fragmento herniado (a).
extrusión: a>b, continuidad o no con el disco→ migración o secuestro.
Ubicación axial: central, subarticular, foraminal y extraforaminal.

• Diagnóstico diferencial:
Osteofitos, quistes, tumores, hematomas y abscesos.
