1:Paper
Handmade paper was invented by the Chinese courtier Ts'ai Lun in the year 105 (2nd century). The
ancestor of paper, as a writing support in China, was silk and bamboo fragments.
2:Alcohol
The oldest known evidence comes from 7000 BC in China, where residues found in clay pots have
revealed that people were making an alcoholic beverage from fermented rice, grapes and honey.
And it was created by Shang and Zhou.
3:Gunpowder
Gunpowder was invented in China, approximately in the 9th century (9th century or in the year
801) of our era. The Byzantines and the Arabs introduced it in Europe around 1200. And it was
created by Chinese alchemists during the Tang dynasty.
4: Toothbrush
It was the Chinese emperor Hongzhi who patented a toothbrush made of pig bristles and bamboo
or bone handles.
5:Printing
In China, between 1041 and 1048, Bi Sheng invented a movable type printing system based on
porcelain pieces that printed on rice paper. However, it was in 1450 when the modern printing
press - the most similar to the one we know today - was created by the German Johannes
Gutenberg.
6:Kites
Although the exact origin of kites is unknown, it is known that they were traced back to China and
the Malay Archipelago two to three thousand years ago. The first written records of kite flying
refer to the exploits of the Chinese general Han Hsin. The first kite was one of the many inventions
made by the Chinese.
7:Chinese ink
The invention of ink is attributed to the Chinese, who invented it some 2500 years before Christ.
The first inks were made with natural vegetable dyes.
8:Paper money
During his travels through China in the 13th century(13), Marco Polo discovered the existence of
paper money. It was made by the emperor, also called the "Great Khan" by the Mongols, in the
city of Kanbalu and was produced from the leaves of the mulberry tree.
9:Soccer
According to FIFA, soccer was already practiced more than 2,300 years ago in the city of Lin Zi as a
military sport that served to train troops and test the physical condition of the soldiers. What does

6:Barriletes
Si bien el origen exacto de los barriletes es desconocido, se sabe que fueron remontados en China
y el Archipiélago de la Malasia hace dos o tres mil años. Los primero registros escritos acerca de
vuelos de barriletes se refieren a las hazañas del general chino Han Hsin el primer barrilete fue
uno de los tantos inventos que hicieron los chinos
7:Tinta china
Se atribuye la invención de la tinta a los chinos, quienes la inventaron unos 2500 años antes de
Cristo. Las primeras tintas estaban hechas con tinturas vegetales naturales.
8:Moneda papel
Marco Polo en sus viajes por China en el siglo XIII(13), descubrió la existencia del papel moneda.
Éste era mandado a fabricar por el emperador, también llamado por los mongoles “Gran Kan”, en
la ciudad de Kanbalu y se producía en base a la hoja del árbol de mora, la morera.
9:Futbol
Según la FIFA el fútbol ya se practicaba hace más de 2300 años en la ciudad de Lin Zi como deporte
militar que servía para entrenar las tropas y comprobar el estado físico de los soldados. ¿Qué
significa CUJU? CU que significa “chutar” y JU “un tipo de balón de cuero”. Al principio el balón era
una pelota medicinal rellena de pelo que botaba poco. Luego utilizaron vejigas de animales que al
hincharse podían botar más. También surgió la primera portería, “el ojo elegante”, que consistían
en una pequeña red ligada al extremo de dos cañas de bambú con una separación. Esta especie de
portería que compartían los dos equipos, se instalaba en medio del campo.
10:Reloj de sol
Song fue el ingeniero que elaboró la Torre de reloj en la Edad Media en la ciudad de Kaifeng,
misma que funcionaba por medio de un sistema hidráulico.siglo VII
