Bullying can manifest itself in different ways, such as physical, verbal, and psychological bullying.
They can be hitting, pushing, insulting, teasing, name-calling, threats, humiliating words, social
rejection or spreading rumors. These actions have a negative impact on the child or adolescent,
generating emotional distress, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts
that often not only remain thoughts but are carried out.
It is important to highlight that bullying should not be tolerated or minimized under any
circumstances. Students, teachers and parents have a responsibility to work together to prevent,
address and resolve this problem. This implies that there is a safe and respectful school
environment, promoting empathy, respect and communication, always willing to listen. Bullying is
very serious since it affects the health and well-being of students, their school performance and
their social development.
We must all work together to eliminate what harms and strengthen the safe and welcoming
environment for all students, teachers, parents and staff who work in school institutions and the
school is their second home where they develop their skills without fear of making mistakes
because We are all learning, for this we must implement teamwork and the SEP guides
supervisors, managers, teachers, parents and staff with its base documents for the development
of these protocols.
