A continuación aparece un vocabulario de los lugares más comunes en una ciudad, revísalo y trata de
memorizar pues será de gran ayuda durante el desarrollo de estas lecciones. Sube esta actividad a la carpeta

PREPOSICIONES DE LUGAR.

Cuando damos direcciones para ubicar un lugar, hacemos uso de las Preposiciones de Lugar, las cuales nos
indican en donde se encuentra un lugar o cosa o en que dirección diriginos. Apoyate en el vocabulario 2 que
está adjunto al final del documento para realizar la siguiente actividad.

Ejemplo.

Hello Ari, I know you are a little lost in this city since you are new here, so I will give you some instructions
on how to go from the Park to other places:

1. To go to the Art Gallery from the park, you walk straight ahead on Palm Street until you reach the
corner with Queen avenue. There you turn left on the corner and walk straight ahead, go past Lane
Street. The Art Gallery is next to the Pub.
2. To go to the Theater from the park, you walk straight ahead on Palm stree until you reach the
corner with Queen Avenue, there you turn left on the corner and walk straight ahead, you will
reach Lane Street, cross the street to the other side where the Newsagent and you will find the
Theater next to it.

ACTIVIDAD 2

Ahora es tu turno de dar instrucciones basadas en el mapa anterior, indicale a Ari como llegar
a los siguientes lugares; Hotel, Aquario y al Banco, todos iniciando siempre desde el punto
“YOU ARE HERE”

1. To go to the Theater from the park, walk straight along Palm Street until you
reach the corner with Queen Avenue, there you turn left at the corner and walk
straight, you will reach Lane Street, cross the street to the other side is the
newsagent and in front is the hotel.
2. To go to the aquarium from the park walk straight along Palm Street until you
reach the corner with Queen Avenue, there you turn left at the corner and walk
straight, you will reach Lane Street, cross the street to the other side is the
police station , continue straight and next to the Italian restaurant is the
aquarium.
3. To go to the bank from the park, walk straight down Palm Street until you
reach the bank
