2. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
UTILIZANDO IONES PARA PURIFICAR EL AIRE
Existen iones positivos y negativos en el aire. Los iones de aire positivos son moléculas
de dióxido de carbono, mientras que un ión de aire negativo es una molécula de oxígeno.
Los iones negativos en el aire atraen partículas de contaminación y les dan carga negati-
va, provocando que estas partículas caigan del aire, purificándolo. Por lo tanto, reduce la
posibilidad de problemas respiratorios y mejora la salud de su familia.

- Los iones negativos aumentan el flujo de oxígeno.
- Los iones negativos purifican el aire al erradicar el humo y las partículas en el aire. Esto

MONTAJE
Abra el paquete y saque el climatizador, las ruedas y la llave. Coloque el aparato en un
lugar plano.
TANQUE DE AGUA
Verifique el nivel de agua en el tanque con frecuencia. Asegúrese de que el nivel del agua
no esté por debajo de la marca “MIN” que se encuentra en el tanque de agua. La activa-
ción de la función de enfriamiento con una cantidad insuficiente de agua puede causar
un mal funcionamiento de la bomba de agua y su posible deterioro.
Antes de volver a llenar de agua, apague la unidad presionando el interruptor ubicado en
el panel posterior y desconecte el cable de alimentación.
3. MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
El polvo puede acumularse en el filtro de polvo o en la almohadilla de enfriamiento des-
pués de un tiempo y puede afectar la función de enfriamiento del climatizador. Por lo
tanto, se recomienda limpiar su enfriador evaporativo regularmente. A continuación siga
estos pasos sobre cómo limpiar esta unidad:
1. Filtro de polvo
Para quitar el filtro de polvo, simplemente presione los cierres con los dedos y extráigalo.
Use un producto limpiador suave y un cepillo suave para eliminar el polvo y la suciedad
del filtro. Cuando termine, primero coloque la parte inferior del filtro y luego presione la
parte superior para asegurarlo.
2. Almohadilla de enfriamiento
Después de quitar el filtro de polvo, puede ver la almohadilla de enfriamiento. Presione
el bloqueo por el medio y extraiga suavemente la almohadilla. Use un paño limpio o un
cepillo suave para eliminar el polvo y la suciedad de la almohadilla. Enjuague con agua
limpia si es necesario y deje secar al aire libre. Nunca use ninguna solución química fuer-
te ya que puede dañar la almohadilla.
Su aparato toma agua de la sección estrecha del tanque y la bombea a la almohadilla de
enfriamiento. El agua que fluye a través de la almohadilla de enfriamiento baja a la sec-
ción grande del tanque. Este ciclo realiza absorción de polvo y suciedad del aire, lo que

parte media del tanque, limpia el agua que pasa a través de él y debe estar bien colocado

rating label.

2. HOW TO USE
USING IONS TO PURIFY THE AIR
Both positive and negative ions exist in the air. Positive air ions are molecules of carbon
dioxide, whereas, a negative air ion is a molecule of oxygen.
Negative ions in the air attract particles of pollution and give them negative charge, mak-
ing them seek electrical ground and cause the particles to drop out of air. Thus, reducing
the possibility of respiratory problem and improves health of your family.

- Negative ions purify the air by eradicating the smoke and particles in the air. This results
to higher alertness, decreased drowsiness, and more mental energy.

ASSEMBLY
Open the package and take out the air cooler, wheels and wrench. Place the air cooler
on a flat place.
BEFORE USING
Insert the plug to the electrical outlet. Press the “On-Off” button to switch the unit on.
The LED indicator automatically shows the room temperature and shifts the fan to stand
by position. The function of the unit can be controlled using the control panel or using
the remote control.
Cooling / heating function
Before choosing the function, you have to turn
the side knob to one precise position.
COOLING: Turn the side knob to the “cooling”
position.
HEATING: Turn the side knob to the “heating”
position.
1. On/Off: Pressing the ON button (on the control panel or on the remote control)
will turn the unit on at intermediate speed. After a few minutes, the fan will drop
to show speed or to the pre-programmed memory setting. To switch back the
standby position, simply press the OFF button.
2. Speed: Press this key to choose between high, medium or low fan speed. Each time
the “Speed” button is pressed, an icon will appear on the LED screen indicating the
current speed level.
3. Wind: Press to choose the type of air. The indicator light will display the selected
type of wind:
a) Normal. A continuous wind blow that can be adjusted to low, medium or high
speed.
b) Natural. It provides a soft and comfortable environment with a selection of low,
medium or high speed.
c) Sleep. It operates at natural fan speed and slowly lowers the speed before turn-
ing it off altogether. At high speed, the cooler works for 6 seconds and then shifts
to medium speed, then it works at this speed for 6 seconds and the turns to low
speed. The cooler will turn off after 6 seconds or until the end of the preset time.
4. Timer: Press to set the working hours of the fan. You can choose between 1-12
hours. The indicator light will show the selected time and will operate until the
preset time passes. Continuously press the button to your desired running time. To
cancel the timer, simply press the button until the indicator shows “00”.
5. Swing: Press to change the wind direction. The swing icon will appear on the
screen when the function is activated. Press the button again to stop the oscilla-
tion. The vertical direction of the air flow can be adjusted manually by directing the
outlet louvers up and down.
6. Cool: Press this key to active the air cooler function. Water pump will take the
water from the tank and pour it onto the cooling pad. The cooling pad absorbs the
heat of the water and the evaporated air is blown out through the fan. The cool
breeze drops the temperature and creates a relaxing cooling effect. Caution: If the
water level is low or there is no water in the tank, do not activate the “Cooler ”
function. Check first the water level and add clean water if needed, also to replace
the stale water. It is recommended to replace the water in the tank at least once in
a week.
7. Warm: Press this key to active the heating function. The PTC heating element
inside the cooler can warm the air in 3 seconds. Press one time for low heating
(1000W) or two times for high heating (2000W). Press againt to cancel the heating
function. In order to protect the heating element, after using the heating function,
if you press the OFF button, the device will continue working for 30 seconds to cool
down.
8. Ion: Press to activate the ionizer function. The indicator light will signify that the
function is on as the negative ions releases. Ions attract harmful particles in the air
such as dust, pollen, mold, spores etc. which causes them to drop out of air, thus
making the air.
The remote control operates with two AAA batteries.
Direct the remote control to the control panel of the evaporative air cooler. If the remote
control is not working, first check the batteries. Replace them if needed.
If you are not going to use it for a long time, take out the batteries to prevent damages
that may occur due to battery leakage.
Turn off the air cooler and unplug the power cord before beginning to clean.
1. Dust Filter
To remove the dust filter, simply press the locks using your fingers and pull it out. Use
mild cleaning agent and soft brush in removing the dust and dirt on the filter. When
done, first attach the bottom part of filter then push the upper part to secure it.
2. Cooling Pad
After removing the dust filter, you can see the cooling pad. Press the lock in the middle
and gently pull out the pad. Use a clean cloth or soft brush to remove dust and dirt from
the pad. Rinse with clean water if needed and leave open air dry. Never use any harmful
chemical solution for may cause damage to the pad.
Your device takes water from the narrow section of the tank and pumps it on the cool-
ing pad. The water flowing through the cooling pad goes down to the large section of
the tank. The cycle results to absorption of dust and dirt in the air which makes the air
safer and fresher to breathe. The filter, that is located at the middle portion of the tank,
cleanses the water that passes through it and should be attached to its place before using
the unit.

MONTAGEM
Abra a embalagem e remova o ar condicionado, as rodas e a chave. Coloque o aparelho
em um local plano.
TANQUE DE ÁGUA
Verifique o nível da água no tanque com freqüência. Certifique-se de que o nível da água
não está abaixo da marca “MIN” no tanque de água. Ativar a função de resfriamento com
água insuficiente pode fazer com que a bomba de água funcione mal e possivelmente
se deteriore.
Antes de reabastecer com água, desligue a unidade pressionando o interruptor localiza-
do no painel traseiro e desconecte o cabo de alimentação.
3. MANUTENÇÃO E LIMPEZA
A poeira pode acumular-se no filtro de poeira ou na placa de resfriamento após um tem-
po e pode afetar a função de resfriamento do ar condicionado. Portanto, é recomendável
limpar seu refrigerador evaporativo regularmente. Em seguida, siga estas etapas sobre
como limpar esta unidade:

Depois de remover o filtro de poeira, você pode ver a almofada de resfriamento. Pressio-
ne a trava no meio e remova cuidadosamente a almofada. Use um pano limpo ou uma
escova macia para remover a poeira e a sujeira da almofada. Enxágüe com água limpa,
se necessário, e deixe secar ao ar. Nunca use qualquer solução química forte, pois isso
pode danificar a almofada.
Seu aparelho aspira água da parte estreita do tanque e bombeia-a para a placa de res-
friamento. A água que flui através da placa de resfriamento desce para a grande seção do
tanque. Este ciclo absorve poeira e sujeira do ar, tornando o ar mais seguro e fresco para
respirar. O filtro, localizado na parte central do tanque, limpa a água que passa por ele e
deve estar firmemente no lugar antes de usar a unidade.
