Los tigres son los felinos más grandes del mundo superando incluso al León.
Tienen como nombre científico panthera tigris.
Es un animal depredador muy feroz y agresivo con una inteligencia muy
superior a la de cualquier otro de su misma especie
El color de la piel de los Tigres es color naranja y tonos blancos junto con las
llamativas rayas que cubren todo su cuerpo de color negro.
La ubicación de cada una de sus rayas se las considera como las huellas
dactilares del propio animal ya que en ningún ejemplar se repiten haciendo esta
especie única y diferente.
Alimentación
Los tigres son capaces de alimentarse de manera eficaz con gran diversidad de
seres vivos y de cualquier tamaño.
Audición:
Como cazadores ávidos, los tigres necesitan tener un oído agudo que les
permita detectar posibles presas en los arbustos y pasto que los rodean
Visión
Los tigres tienen visón binocular. Cazan principalmente durante las horas de la
tarde y noche, cuando la 3visón de sus presas se vuelve débil. Tienen una
pupila amplia y redondeada
Olfato
El olfato lo tiene menos desarrollado, pero posee el órgano vomeronasal. Se
comunican con otros tigres en su territorio, lo hacen a través de las glándulas
del olor en sus cuerpos
Gusto
El tigre es capaz de sentir el sabor acido, así como los sabores dulces

Tigers are able to feed effectively with a wide variety of living beings of any size.
Their habitual home is based on the capture and ingestion of elephants,
monkeys, fish and a great diversity of birds.
Hearing
As avid hunters, tigers need keen hearing to allows detecting possible prey in
the bushes and grass that surround them

Tigers have binocular vision. They hunt mainly during night hours.

Smell
The tiger is able to feel the acid taste, as well as the sweet flavors
