Luchando con el cristianismo

El otro día comente que los paganos se centran demasiado en el cristianismo. La
respuesta fue que ya era parte de nuestra "Folkway", no era tan fácil de
separar.
 
Sí, estoy de acuerdo con esto, igualmente considero que es una mala hierba que
necesita ser sacada del camino que caminamos. Con demasiada frecuencia parece
que la ruta de acceso del camino del folk está cubierto de malas hierbas - malas
hierbas cristianas, las malas hierbas Wicca, las malas hierbas del vudú, malas
hierbas magia ceremonial, malezas Kabala, y similares. Una mala hierba es a
menudo definida como "una hierba todavía no identificado, sin embargo, estas
hierbas son bien conocidos por nosotros, y no son malas hierbas, y mucho menos
las de curación, o una parte de nuestra tradición de las nueve hierbas, o
nuestro "wortcunning". Ellos son invasivos para nuestros Folkway y el riesgo de
asfixia a la misma.
 
En la cita anterior la idea de estar "centrado en los principios" es la esencia
del mensaje. Pero, ¿qué principios? Cuyos principios? Cuando la lucha entre
cristianos y paganos, o Wicca y paganos (y similares) que son siempre el
equilibrio .. balanceándose de uno a otro, siendo siempre un hedgerider*.
 
Conozco a un décimo, si veo a un hedgerider jugando en el aire:
Yo trabajo con respecto a sus no saber cómo viajar

Del mismo modo, hay muchos ejemplos en Havamal de generosidad, incluso a los
extranjeros .. para que nuestra gente se presentan como la mano abierta,
"realmente feliz por el éxito, el bienestar, el reconocimiento de logros, y
buena suerte" de los demás. Al parecer, muchos paganos hoy se han salido de esta
idea, optando en cambio por ocultarse y conspirar para dañar paganos compañeros.
Principios quizá de costumbres que no son nuestras?
 
Como muchos hilos para conformar una cuerda, nos volvemos más fuertes a través
de afiliación.
 
Después de todo, "El éxito añade a , en lugar de disminuir, nuestras vidas"?

The other day I commented that Heathens focus too much on Christianity.   The response was
that since it was part of our folkway, it was not so easily separated.
 
Yes, I agree with this, equally as I consider it a weed that needs be pulled from the path that
we walk upon.   All too often it seems the path to our folkway is overgrown with weeds -
Christian weeds, Wiccan weeds, Voodoo weeds, Ceremonial Magic weeds, Kabala weeds,
and the like.   A weed is often defined as 'a herb not yet identified', yet these weeds are well
known to us, and they are not herbs, let alone healing ones, or part of our Nine Herb lore, or
our wortcunning.   They are invasive to our folkway and risk choking out the same.
 
In the above quote the idea of being "principle-centered" is the gist of the message.   But what
principles?    Whose principles?    When we struggle between Christian and Heathen, or
Wiccan and Heathen (and the like) we are always off balance .. teetering from one to the other,
always being a hedgerider.
 
I know a tenth, if I see a hedgerider playing upon the air:
 
I work towards their not knowing how to journey
 
towards their hama or hugr (skin-shape or mind).

Likewise, there are many examples in Havamal of generosity, even to strangers .. so that our
folk are portrayed as open-handed, "genuinely happy for the successes, well-being,
achievements, recognition, and good fortune" of others.   It seems many Heathens today have
gotten away from this notion, opting instead to snipe and conspire to harm fellow Heathens.  
Principles perhaps from folkways not our own?
 
As many threads tie to make a rope, we grow stronger through affiliation. 
 
After all, does not "success add to, rather than detract from, our lives"?

Nota:
 
hedgerider: Un termino utilizado en el seidr como aquella persona que esta entre
dos bandos, usualmente referente a la practica de estar entre la realidad de
Midgard y el mundo espiritual de los nueve mundos.
 
Quiere decir que hay que estar conscientes de "nuestra realidad" y de las
apariencias de las demás influencias que distraen nuestras mentes.No centrados
en uno ni el otro, simplemente entre los bordes para no perderse.

hedgerider: is a term that is common utilized in seidr for that person that is between to
boundaries, usually making reference to the practice to be between the reality of Midgard and
the spiritual one of the nine worlds. 
 
This means that we need to be conscious of "our reality" and of the appearances of those
external influences that distract our mind. Not centered in one or another, just to be between
boundaries to dont get lost.
