El presente simple es uno de los tiempos más importantes en inglés. Se usa para situaciones que ocurren con
frecuencia o que sueles hacer en tu presente. AQUÍ ES INDISPENSABLE EL USO DE VERBOS

Hay tres tipos de oraciones, las afirmativas, negativas e interrogativas

Este primer ejercicio es de oraciones afirmativas, que se resuelven con la siguiente información:

 En los pronombres I, YOU, WE, THEY el verbo queda igual. Por ejemplo oración con el verbo: EAT
(comer)
I eat pizza You eat pizza We eat pizza They eat pizza

(yo como pizza) (tu comes pizza) (nosotros comemos (ellos comen pizza)

 En los pronombres SHE, HE, IT al verbo se le debe añadir una terminación al final de la palabra, una
S, según el caso
Por ejemplo: EAT (comer)

She eats pizza He eats pizza It eats pizza

2. DON’T OR DOESN’T

Complete las siguientes oraciones negativas utilizando DO o DOES según el caso. Recuerde que los
auxiliares se usan de acuerdo al pronombre personal

Don’t (I, YOU, THEY, WE) Doesn’t (she, he, it)

Nota: Los auxiliaries (do y does) no traducen nada, pero cumplen una función gramatical, los cuales deben
estar presentes en las oraciones negativas e interrogativas

Bill does not play tennis every Sunday. (Bill ( o él) no juega tenis todos los domingos)

Don’t (contracción de do not) doesn’t (contracción de does not)

3. WRITE - DO OR DOES

Complete los espacios con los auxiliares DO o DOES según el pronombre personal. Recuerde que los
auxiliares se usan tanto para preguntas negativas como interrogativas.

A. Read and answer the questions please.

This is Nelly. She’s a nurse. She’s tall and thin. She works at the
hospital. She looks after sick people.

She gets up at six o’clock in the morning. She takes a shower and
puts on her clothes. Then she eats breakfast at half past six. At
seven o’clock, she drives her car to the hospital.

Nelly starts work at eight o’clock. She cleans the rooms in the
