 The real impact of high transportation costs.

 Sample outline # 1.

Posterior a estas lecturas y con la finalidad de cumplir con el propósito de esta evidencia,
desarrolle lo siguiente:

1. Elabore un ensayo en inglés sobre la Distribución Física Internacional (DFI), con las
siguientes características:

International Physical Distribution

Introduction
In this primer you will find who are the actors involved in foreign trade.
Subsequently, it delves into national and international organizations
internationals involved in foreign trade.
This knowledge will enable the student to identify
who should be resorted to and what should be taken into account when carrying out foreign trade
operations.

. Main points
These actors include:
■ Status.
■ International organizations.
■ Banking institutions.
■ Surety companies.
■ Insurance companies.
■ Storage companies.
■ Packaging and packaging companies.
■ Customs agencies.
■ Direct carriers.
■ Cargo agencies.
■ Importer and exporter.
■ Destination ports
CONSEQUENCES OF AN INADEQUATE DFI
Loss of merchandise
Loss of quality of the merchandise
additional warehouses
additional manipulations
overpaid freight
oversizing of packaging
Excessive documentation cost
inadequate insurance coverage
higher costs for unforeseen stays

INCOMTERMS
INCOTERMS are an international language for commercial terms, they facilitate international trade
operations and define obligations, this reduces risk.

MODES OF TRANSPORTATION
• AQUATIC: maritime, fluvial, lacustrine
• LAND: train-road-oil pipelines
• AERIAL
• Multimodal
• Ports

STORAGE
The trend is to reduce storage to 0.
· Produce what is sold not sell what is produced Storage can be caused in interfaces

Conclusion.
Known by its acronym DFI, the distribution
International physics corresponds to the logistic process developed to place a
product X in the international market,
fully complying with terms previously agreed between seller and buyer. Among its objectives are

lowest possible cost, meshable with the required service strategy. the system of
physical distribution deals with matters related to the
placement of product X starting with
the producer to the end user, passing
by the stages corresponding to terminals and/or indirect channels used.
This concept originates from marketing
and introduced by the United States in the late 1970s. This refers to a
unification of five subsystems: transportation, storage, packaging, loading/unloading and
distribution; and a support and information system.
building on the following main elements to achieve and maintain a strong
competitive advantage in the timely delivery of the product.
This allows companies to achieve a well-managed logistics system for
that situations do not arise that make the flow of products and information impossible
that satisfy the goals of the organization in the export and internationalization process. (Murillo,
2004).

Cuáles son las ventajas de reducir los costos logísticos y de

transporte en la Distribución Física Internacional
Helps to optimize processes.
Promotes savings and reinvestment.
Lower costs for the end customer
Lack of route planning.
Reducing transportation costs has a double benefit: increasing the profit margin while providing
more capital to reinvest in companies.
The main ally to help reduce logistics costs are performance indicators. That is, the quantitative
metrics that evaluate the performance of each process in the company. Some examples of In order
to reduce trips or journeys, trucks must be filled to capacity considering the correct way to load
them and the most convenient order to accommodate the merchandise, being the last to load the
first to leave the truck
performance indicators in logistics processes are: on-time deliveries

Thanks to advanced technology, distribution logistics channels have made it possible to have
greater visibility, improved control of operations, better efficiency in the management of resources
and a significant reduction in the costs necessary to achieve the objectives. standards
Avoid losses of working capital. Helps identify unnecessary purchases. Better price, better
competitiveness. Greater business profitability
In this context, some of the advantages of reducing logistics trucking costs are the following:
Helps to optimize processes. ...
Promotes savings and reinvestment. ...
Lower costs for the end customer. ...
Lack of route planning.
desventajas de los altos costos en la misma
Disadvantages: slow speed, more expensive insurance and packaging, port costs, high risk of
looting and spoilage, more widely spaced frequencies. When a company manages to reduce its
logistics costs, it can transfer that savings margin to its clients, by offering them lower prices on
services, which allows it to improve its competitiveness in the market. And the most susceptible
area to reduce the logistics cost is in the transport of goods Stock shortages at points of sale. The
delivery service is usually not very fast. The cost of transport is usually high. The scope of the
products is limited, since the distribution is handled only by the company It is easier to plan,
control and evaluate production performance. It reduces the necessary manufacturing space, as
well as the costs in transport logistics and storage of raw materials and products. Supervision by
operators simplified A failed delivery can not only mean losing a customer, but there are also costs
associated with the transfer of the product, handling, management of a transport help desk,
attention to claims in the call center, receipt of the return in the warehouse and, probably product
management Among the main disadvantages of process-oriented distribution, the following stand
out: More complex production flows. Higher costs when handling materials. There is an
accumulation of work on hold and in progress
