Evidencia 1: Writing and essay about logistics costs
International trade is making great strides and the demands also grow especially in the high
logistics and international transport costs, so it can prevent companies from exporting. For
this reason, export processes cannot be stopped and strategies should help reduce costs, as
mentioned by Mrs. Marcela Cortes 2014 in her final essay on The High Costs of an Export in
Colombia “great policies have developed their strategies logistics, resulting in the reduction of
costs in terms of physical distribution, increased service and quality of information,
specializing its resources and ensuring maximum compliance with Just in Time delivery. ” If
costs decrease, exports increase, greater competitiveness, use of that money to invest and
economic growth for a country.
On the other hand, if a company has high costs to export its product, it results in a product
with a higher price that would not be as competitive versus other similar products, according
to the article The 4 silent problems of the physical distribution of products by Francisco
Abarza. Sales Manager Dice "Merchandise distribution costs may represent amounts greater
than 30% of the value of the product, specifically for expenses related to storage and
transportation, two factors that have gone in relation to recent years." The high costs are very
negative until we can take away business opportunities and this has an impact on the
economic company and also discourages an entrepreneur from wanting to export.
If you wish to export, consider what Dawn Russell, John J. Coyle, Kusumal Ruamsook and
Evelyn A. Thomchick says in your article The real impact of high transport costs should be
taken into account “Distance management, density and shipping size are key factors of
transportation costs. ” All this in order to achieve better conditions to offer our product for the
first time or if you already export your product to maintain and improve your finances.
Companies can be frustrated by not being able to offer their product to other potential
countries because of all the processes they must do to let their product out of the country and
that this also generates expenses such as taxes and also the expenses for distribution
International physics, for all this it is important to have clear and true knowledge of how to
reduce expenses and this is from the creation of the product, its packaging, packaging and
packaging for example as mentioned in the article Dawn Russell, John J. Coyle, Kusumal
Ruamsook and Evelyn A. Thomchick in their article The real impact of high transport costs
“Some manufacturers have redesigned rolled-up consumer products such as aluminum foil
and toilet paper to make the cardboard tube in the center smaller, or even have He removed
the tube completely.
Like the products themselves, the packaging is being redesigned to optimize the size and
weight of the package for the content through reconfiguration of the package, the use of
lighter materials and the elimination of unnecessary packaging layers, such as external
cardboard boxes”. Product details must be taken into account before exporting, companies
must be prepared to make better decisions at each stage of the process
For the aforementioned, there are more benefits if logistics and international transport costs
are reduced, which has a direct impact on the economy of companies both in savings and in
better revenues, new businesses and brand positioning when internationalizing.
internacionalizarse.
