TRAYECTORIA

Mi nombre es Rebeca Centeno soy ingeniera química egresada de la CUCEI, tengo dos
especialidades en Ambiental y otra en celulosa y papel tengo 3 años y 6 meses en patrón. El
primer año participe como supervisor de tratamiento de Efluentes, aprendí mucho acerca de ser
una empresa que se preocupa por el cuidado del medio ambiente. Desarrollé habilidades de
manejo de personal y liderazgo.

El siguiente año fui promovida como supervisor de producción y me toco participar en el arranque
de la segunda etapa de RC una oportunidad que me ayudo a desarrollar muchas habilidades que
me servirían después en el arranque de fermentación 4 en HDA.

Posteriormente se me dio la oportunidad de ser supervisor de Levaduras, donde me toco liderear

a un equipo pequeño, pero con mucho potencial. Dentro de este proceso vivimos un momento de
cambios y aprendí a trasmitirle a mi equipo esa gestión y adaptarnos a nuevas actividades donde
implementé revisiones de ATP que nos aportan bastante en la revisión de la sanitización de tinas,
así como la utilización de los reactores para el enfriamiento de Jugo y evitar tener paros en el
proceso.

Posteriormente fui promovida a planeador de calidad producción lo cual fue un gran logro para mi
al ser la primer mujer planeadora en la historia de producción. Esto significo mucho y me permitió
desarrollarme en habilidades más direccionadas a sistema de gestión asi como actividades
enfocadas a la seguridad. Participe en un proyecto de capacitación al personal de nuevo ingreso
con la finalidad de reducir los accidentes y darles las herramientas necesarias para realizar sus
actividades de manera segura. Además, después genere un proyecto de infografías para
concientizar al personal sobre el uso de guantes, donde se ha visto una mejoría en los primos.

Uno de mis mayores logros fue participar en el arranque de la segunda fase de rosa de castilla ver
el proceso desde sus inicios y lidiar con los retos que esto representaba. Implementación de
nuevos diseños y equipos y sobre todo la seguridad del personal.

Una de las situaciones más difíciles que he vivido dentro de mi trayectoria fue presenciar un
accidente de un primo, el cual sufrió quemaduras en mas del 70% de su cuerpo. En este momento
estaba entre esperar en las instalaciones a que lo atendieran, pero otra parte de mi me decía que
tenia que llevarlo, entonces tome la decisión de tomar un vehículo y conducir hasta la HDA para
que le brindaran atención médica, esto permitió que se le atendiera de forma oportuna y que el
en estos momentos se encuentre aun con nosotros. Genere un lazo con Adrian el cual me permitió
estar cerca del incluso después del accidente y tratar de apoyarlo en lo que estuviera en mis
manos. Actualmente me siento muy feliz de decir que Adrian regreso a trabajar y que gracias a sus
esfuerzos ahora el supervisor de mantenimiento.

Dentro de los proyectos que me siento orgullosa fue un History Kaizen que se basaba en un
proyecto de pozos de absorción en la planta de RC con la finalidad de captar el agua de lluvia y
regresarla a los mantos friáticos. El proyecto quedo en espera ya que se tenía que realizar en
equipo y la mayoría no quiso continuar sin embargo yo tengo la esperanza de que pueda llevarse a
cabo.
UNA MALA DECISIÓN

Involucrarme más con mi equipo de trabajo para sensibilizarnos más y evitar que primos con
potencial se vaya de Patron por ideas erróneas o falla en comunicación.

¿POR QUE DEBO SER LA GANADORA?

Debería ser yo la ganadora ya que soy una persona muy persistente que le gusta superarse y
siempre ponerse retos. Se que demostrare mis habilidades y aportare al equipo de producción.
También porque soy honesta y siempre busco dar lo mejor de mí. Me preocupo por mi equipo de
trabajo y siempre buscare dar un extra de mí.

¿SI NO GANO COMO ME SENTIRIA?

Sería un nuevo reto buscaría retroalimentación y me enfocaría en las áreas de oportunidad, pero
sin duda lo seguiría intentando siempre dando un extra.

My name is Rebeca Centeno. I am a chemical engineer graduated from CUCEI. I have two
specialties in Environmental and another in cellulose and paper. I have been in Tequila Patron for
3 years and 6 months. The first year I participated as an Effluent treatment supervisor, I learned a
lot about being a company that cares about the care of the environment. Develop leadership and
people management skills.

The following year I was promoted as production supervisor and I had to participate in the start of
the second stage of RC, an opportunity that helped me develop many skills that would later serve
me in the start of fermentation 4 in HDA.

Later, I was given the opportunity to be a yeast supervisor, where I had to lead a small team, but
with a lot of potential. Within this process we lived a moment of change and I learned to transmit
this management to my team and adapt to new activities where I implemented ATP revisions that
contribute a lot to us in the revision of the sanitization of tubs, as well as the use of the reactors
for the Juice cooling and avoid stoppages in the process.

Later I was promoted to production quality glider which was a great achievement for me as the
first female glider in production history. This meant a lot and allowed me to develop skills more
directed to the management system as well as activities focused on security. Participate in a
training project for newly hired staff in order to reduce accidents and give them the necessary
tools to carry out their activities safely. Also, then create an infographic project to make staff
aware of the use of gloves, where an improvement has been seen in the “Primos”

One of my greatest achievements was participating in the start-up of the second phase of Rosa de
Castilla, seeing the process from its beginnings and dealing with the challenges that this
represented. Implementation of new designs and equipment and above all the safety of
personnel.

One of the most difficult situations that I have experienced in my career was witnessing an
accident involving a cousin, who suffered burns on more than 70% of his body. At this moment I
was between waiting in the facilities to be treated, but another part of me told me that I had to
take him, so I made the decision to take a vehicle and drive to the HDA to receive medical
attention, this allowed attend him in a timely manner and that he is still with us at this time. I
created a bond with Adrian which allowed me to be close to him even after the accident and try to
support him in whatever way I could. Today I am very happy to say that Adrian is back to work and
thanks to his efforts he is now the maintenance supervisor.

Among the projects that I feel proud of was a History Kaizen that was based on a project of
absorption wells in the RC plant in order to capture rainwater and return it to the groundwater.
The project was put on hold since it had to be carried out as a team and the majority did not want
to continue, however I am hopeful that it can be carried out.

A BAD DECISION

Get more involved with my work team to raise awareness and prevent cousins with potential from
leaving Patron due to misconceptions or miscommunication.

WHY SHOULD I BE THE WINNER?

I should be the winner since I am a very persistent person who likes to improve himself and always
challenge himself. I know I will show my skills and contribute to the production team. Also,
because I am honest and I always try to give my best. I care about my work team and I will always
seek to give an extra of myself.

IF I DON'T WIN, HOW WOULD I FEEL?

It would be a new challenge, I would seek feedback and focus on the areas of opportunity, but
without a doubt I would continue trying, always giving an extra.
